Need Contractor Urgently !

Hi,

In a twist of things I have lost all faith in my current ID / Contractor. He has been trying to cheat me at every corner and it has come to a point that both me and my partner have lost faith in him. So, we would like to start afresh.

Can someone please recommend a reliable (and honest) contractor? We know what we want and so we don't necessarily need to engage an expensive ID. A reliable person (contractor) will do. Most of the work is in kitchen and toilets.

Will genuinely appreciate your help.

Hi. My friend and I use this contractor to do up our tuition centres.

Never tried him for home reno tho'

Honest - He doesn't anyhow charge. [i compared 4 quotes before choosing him]

Reliability - It has been 2 years since he has done up our Centres but

whenever we have problems, he still comes back to fix it.

It's F.O.C.

i just need to acid wash toilets, painting (plus patching of walls from screws/nails etc), marble floor polishing, supply and change lights for my 3 rm flat.

i am not sure whether i can help cos im in the midst of comparing quotes and want to know what is the diff between contractor and ID. i found one contractor who i feel very comfortable with but haven yet engage their service. my sis house was done very nicely by them though. will pm you guys the contact

From now till CNY is peak season and price is hiking from 15% to 20%. The labour also ask for higher price in preparation for downturn during low season after CNY. If you plan to do any reno at bargainable price, wait after March. If you do now, be prepared to be chopped and delay of 2~3 weeks. Even Marina Sand Casino also affected, what is HDB???

the contractor that i got did told me about the CNY thing where all the malaysian worker will be going back to their hometown, therefore she cannot guarantee to finish my renovation works by CNY if i were to start late. i am very suprise by the honesty she have though as all my ID "guarantee" to finish by CNY. the price is higher now? but i need to move asap so i am left with no choice.

Hi, can try my Contractor to get quote also. My house is in the mid of reno and completed soon, so far so good and no major problems. He is the few lowest quote i get after getting alot from other contractor and ID. Can PM me if interested. And he is a easy going and patient pax. :-)
