darth vader 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2010 Anybody could advise? wats the btu for each room? std insulation is class 1, 3/8" armaflex/thermaflex/watever-flex and G23 copper piping. try ask ask for class 0, 1/2" insulation and G22 copper piping. do a search in this forum, it has been mention b4. pricing disparity shd not be more than 100-200 btwn the major players. personally, i will opt for toshiba or mitsubishi. The standard materials alot of company use is 3/8 Thermaflex and 24gauge copper and 13 mm.At around $2890 you can get the same thing but upgraded to 1/2" class 1 armaflex, 23gauge copper tubing, 16mm Drainage pipe, 2 trips foc and such.
