I have just hooked up M1 voice line & start using the home telephone line to chat with friend. It seems like voice quality is clear but there is echo behind our conversation. Further, there is a 'waiting time' of 8-10 seconds before I can hear my friend talking.

Not sure if this is due to Philips telephone set or M1 service.

Guess what? I was at Genting Highland over the weekend and for the first time in my life, make some 'big' $$$ from the slot machines!

The windfall was from the free spins during the Bonus retriggered from this slot machine. Each time, there are 15 free spins and this was retriggered for like 5 -6 times during the free spins, with so many eyes watching me because the casino staff had stopped the row of slot machines to exchange the cashboxes, and all players were standing beside watching me and the slot machine to stop spinning!

The shoe cabinet is almost done, except for one door which the carpenter short buy one set of Blum hinges. The shoe cabinet will be adjusted to close the gap between the sliding doors.

Just curious, is the shoe cabinet allowed to be so tall in term of FS?

Activities on 26 Jan 2011:

Was at home waiting for Courts delivery for the LG fridge, Sanyo washer & Samsung LED TV amid the heavy rain. The delivery guys had to lug the washer & TV up to my unit because the only lift serving our point block had broken down as soon as they brought up the LG fridge.

Then, mover called & advised delivery time changed due to rain. I was delighted as the only available timeslot was not favourable for me. So, rushed back to Bukit Panjang as soon as Courts finished testing the washer.

Mover came punctually & in less than one hour, they have loaded all our stuffs. Was raining heavily and when we arrived at my place, the only lift serving our point block broke down again for a third time in one day. The other lift had shut down for upgrading since the day we moved out for renovation.

The movers unloaded all our stuffs and they waited patiently for more than an hour for the mechanic to repair the lift.

City Gas also came to install the gas meter & connection to heater & stove.

I am glad that the mover didn't disappoint me; really cheap & reliable mover!

What a dramatic day! Sometimes things happened for some reasons... luckily, in your favour.

The curtains bosses came to site personally & met our ID to resolve the beams & columns issue. Now, due to unforeseen problem with the aircon bulky trunking which obstruct the additional wooden sliding door, the curtain installer has to return to adjust the stopper at the right side. Sharing here are more photographs of the curtains:

You MIA for so long......

For the shoe cabinet, I am only concerned if full height shoe cabinet is placed near the Main entrance. For us, it is at the side entrance, and the facing of the shoe cabinet is away from us when we walked in to the kitchen foyer. Moreover, the top level of the shoe cabinet will be used for keeping the socks & polishers/brushes.

On that dramatic day of our Move, and YES, sometimes things do turned out in our favour....when the lift was ready, it was already 5.04pm which is my favourable timing for the move....and I am just very lucky!

The bedframe for my youngest son was bought from X'Clusive Home with LaContessa mattress which will now be delivered in March 2011.

I had similar bedrame for my second son, from Sealy.

If I were to compare both bedframes, I would say the one you saw in picture for my youngest son, from X'Clusive Home is better in terms of design and quality.

Infact, one year ago, when I bought my KingSize Sealy + bedframe, I had a big argument & complained to Sealy HQ as the quality & workmanship were very lousy. When I re-visited Sealy @ IMM recently for my new purchases, the sales staff remembered well the incident and told me they have changed the contractor for the bedframes.

Still, I find the bedframe from X'Clusive Home is far better!

As for this Metal Rabbit, it is also based on the BaZi of 4 Feb-2011. So, this year, there will be lots of $$$ in the economy...

Yes, the interior of store is painted in Greystone. I guess the yellowish is due to cove lights reflected from somewhere...

This picture shows the made ready interior shelves, but I have since extended the top shelf to reach the end of shoe cabinet.

As per advice of my FSM, I will be getting a low display cabinets for crystals & placed at the 'bicycle planter' to act as buffer to slow down incoming Qi from main entrance to avoid crashing the person seating on the sofa.

I choose the day curtain with sparkles to add some 'Woah' factor to the MBR, and also because the windows can be seen from the Livingroom.

A wise choice to install a door to cover the mirror when not in use.

The bed linen is made from 450 TC cotton....really very comfy...

I have to call for service to check the TV next week; the TV set was alright on first day, but now, when it is switched on, the power will automatically cut off after one minute. Dun know what's gone wrong with our Sharp Aquo TV....my son tested the power supply using his electric guitar & he told me nothing wrong with the electric supply, so it must be the TV which might have damaged during the move.

The customer service at Court is Awesome! As I cant find the warranty card for the Sharp TV after we moved in, I sent an online inquiry to Court yesterday.

This morning, received a call from their extended warranty dept giving me the full details of my purchase & warranty. Wow...they can trace your purchase, especially the extended warranty from Courts.

Update: This method works! I could now sleep soundly without hearing the water flushing & dripping from the water pipes!
