I'm trying to get T8 tube with loose fitting as told by my ID....

But what is actually a T8 loose fit? is it different from the normal T8 florescent tube?

Where can I get one and how much is it?

There is a huge difference but it depends on what you need the light for.

T8 lights will soon be extinct as t5 produce twice the light with half the energy with twice the intensity.

There are a tiny bit expensive but totally worth it for light penetration into the tank.

Just becareful and research what you need the lighting for.

Is it more for marine life growth or just for viewing pleasure.

If its in your budget always get t5's there just nicer lights all around and will soon be the norm.

If you need the lights just for viewing the t8's may be fine but if you need the lights to drive growth in the tank find the right amount of wattage and go T5.
