L-Box Downlights, Cove Lighting And Ceiling Fan ?

Hi,

Any idea whether will it look very weird to have L-box with downlights, cove lights and ceiling fan together in the living room?

Some IDs said OK, but some against it.

Any suggestions / comments?

Hi, yes,, Lbox with downlights + cove lites indeed look weird.. if u hav Lbox around, i would suggest dun install any ceiling fan, as you cant feel the wind at all. i do not know how to explain to u though typing, mayb u can contact mi for more enquires.. fyi, i'm specialise in home lighting and ceiling. previously a ID for 2 years.. hope i am able to help in givin my advise..

I think is ok. I m doing cove lights, light box with downlights n a ceiling fan. Lights r up! ceiling fan not yet. Wait till it's up then I comment.

hi, i think it's perfectly fine to have L-box with clove light around the perimeter of the room (i.e. living room), follow by a ceiling fan at the centre.

i did that for my living room and 3 bedrooms. they look good. =)

Personally, I don't think L-box + covelights + ceiling fan.. would look weird.

My living hall has L-box with ceiling fan. (no cove light as I think that provides a gd nesting place for lizards and insects! haha)

If the light is directed further, will the light reflecred from the ceiling cast a moving shadow beneath bcos of the ceilin fan?

my current house is downlight with false ceiling, fan in the middle, it looks good to me:

My previous house is cove light with L box with fan in the middle, also ok.

Hi,

It will be nice to have them all together.

You may choose to switch on any lightings base on your liking, say: rainy days, u may switch on downlights etc

i guess it is also a personal choice.

we chose a no-frills option.

no cove lights, no down lights.

just the ceiling fan attached with lights. supported with wall lights
