Hacking Of Kitchen Floor Tiles

Hi all,

I have just collected my keys to my new flat (BTO).

I have chosen for floor tiles previously.

Can i ask whether i can hack my floor tiles for my kitchen?

As i was told for new flat, i cant hack the floor tiles due to warranty issue.

Is it true?
