Accomodation During 2 Months Renovation

Hi Kind Folks,

I am looking for a flat to rent during my 2 months of renovation. Anyone could advise me if such short term renting is common? Cos usually rental lease is 1 yr contract. Hotel stay is too expensive for 2 months stay. Where do people usually stay if they need to vacate their existing flat during renovation?

Nego with budget hotel management for a better monthly rate with housekeeping frequency of once per week or every 3 days; if that is still too high, rent a room or a flat for short term, agent fee applies.
