Join 46,923 satisfied homeowners who used renotalk quotation service to find interior designers. Get an estimated quotation

they do the leg work for you, they earn the referrer fees. basically thats all. but please bear in mind, take note of your legal fees and always make sure it fair. currently market rate for private is all in plus stamp 2.5k plus another 300 for cpf thingy.

Your concerns are exactly the reasons why I started my home loan portal. Full transparency. No hidden fees. You compare and contact the bankers directly.

Hmmm... I came across housingloansg.com before. They are pretty reputable and have been around for many years in SG.

While doing the analysis and leg work, they also help their clients get more saving where possible. They actually helped a friend of mine save 1k of legal fee. Which is pretty good I think. It's actually worthwhile to engage a reliable and experienced loan consultant, less headache and no extra cost.

cheers!

Bank officer will give the lawyer name if you don't have one. But that does not mean he/she is good.

OR

You can find your own.

Once, I use the lawyer given by the Bank officer.

KNS.... darm screw up .. until I complain to Law society.

Now.. this lawyer was in jail b'coz other offense he broke.

How much..

depend how much is ur property?

If landed .. more

If HDB or condo less than 1 million.. $2.5k to $3k..

Compare your own quote so you can neg with banker to get some voucher in returns for the loan. Lawyer wise you can find your own lawyer, just google ard and ask. Those specialist also can get commission from lawyer, beware.

Min loan is $100k

Minimum Loan period is 5 yrs

Cancellation fee 0.75% on the loan amount cancelled or undisbursed at the end of the availability period

Understand that it is illegal for lawyer to give commission/referral fee. We can seek out a lawyer on our own, but have to ensure the lawyer is in the bank's panel. Actually, as layman, it's easier to leave it to the specialist. My view is to be selective and go for the established and trustworthy specialist.
