Half Laminate Half Tile

Has anyone seen this type of design. My living room and dining is just side by side and i was thinking of living room using laminate while dining room using homo tiles.

Idea is to seperate the 2. Any comments?

I think shld be ok if your area is big enough

Y not make a raised platform instead of laying all flat that way I think looks nicer

Ohh. have thought of that but too costly as living area quite big. 225 sqf for living 200 for dining. K since no one has such pic, i'll see what the ID can generate and see if it'll be nice.
