Wow totally forgot I posted here! I went ahead with the renovation... Will be posting pictures soon and hope to get some feedback... Friends are saying I paid too much, and yet more friends who have landed and re-done their entire homes have said I saved about 10%-15%. A bit too late to cry over spilled milk (if it was indeed a bad decision) but just hope to share with everyone my newly renovated home soon!
