I went to my new house and found that there are black and white stains on the homogenous tiles. The homogenous tiles are those reflective type.

Does anyone know how to remove those stains on the tiles? Its not the dirt on the grout.

This is how I remove stains from my white marble. Not sure if it works on homogeneous tiles so I suggest you try out on an obscure piece first.

For stubborn stains, you may have to do it several times.

Note: Do at your own risk! I disclaim all responsibility!

This is the final result!

On a "closer" look:

On a "farther" look

And the winner is: Daiso Sponge!!!

As the Daiso sponge is made of melamine, do remember to wear a pair of rubber gloves when using it.

As for the stain remover cleaner, I realised that it can clean the gaps between tiles very well. I don't need to exert any strength in cleaning the grout at all!

On second hand, I am thinking if I should change the tiles to ceramic tiles coz I doubt that the stains will be all gone. And those homogenous tiles seems to be easily stained with water... Thinking in the long run, the tiles will get darker with time and possibly its a better idea to change all the tiles?

You mean the tiles was not changed? In this case, the stains are left by ex owner? Then you have to clean yourself lo

If you don mind, can consider overlay which will save some cost.
