angstygal 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2014 Hi there,I have just moved into a Condominium apartment not long ago and I realised that the flooring in the bedroom is parquet flooring.Is there any way to protect it such as putting a layer of laminate or something? alfredt 27 Report post Posted April 27, 2014 typically, there will be a layer of varnish on top of it.if you are really paranoid, you may consider getting floor protector to serve as a barrier between the legs of chairs and the floor.else normal use is quite ok.after many years, you may also get contractors to re-polish and re-varnish.
