A technical competency issue of each TC/HDB.

Noise/vibration absorbers at motors/pipes/valves do help reduce noise, but $$$$

I dont like the rumbling noise everytime it runs.

Does reducing the pump strength helps alot?

I have this noise too at night ..but was solved very fast after i feedback to my Punggol towncouncil..they change the strength and timing of the pump. Kudoos to them.

nothing much you can do except get use to the sound and treat it like music.

Hi all,

I just shifted to my new home in June and staying at level 2. We have been disturbed by the noise from the pump room everytime it run in the middle of the night.

Have feedback to HDB and they have configured to allow the pump to run from 7am - 11pm daily.Though this has so call 'solved' the noise issue but we cant sleep till late cos the pump will start every day 7am.

Anyone has this issue also? Any advise on this? Thanks in advanced
