Possible To Start Reno After Getting In Principle Approval From Hdb And Not After Completion Date? Wanna Move In Before Lunar 7 Month. Can Advise? Thanks.

It is possible to get the renovation permit approved if the seller agrees since you will need to submit the indemnity form with their NRIC. Some might not feel comfortable with it. So best is to communicate with the seller first. I tried to do the same but i find that it's too much of an hassle so i waited till the completion date. If no major hackings, it will be approved within 3-5 working days. If there is major hackings, you will need to get a PE to get it approved first then submit the permit which will be faster.
