Hi all

Any 1 can tell me what is pre pack cement ?

Is it must use that for my BTO flat ?

Is it very expensive?

hi,

yes now its very expensive.
As compared to May, the price doubled up.

Yes, some tilers use cheaper cement, but what if after 2-3 years your tiles bloat up,
the owner is going to bear the cost. So its still better to follow hdb rules
and use the cement.

I have get few quote, but all quote different prices.

Very confusing.

And from the lower to higher there is a big gap different.

Is anyone know for the quote of HDB BTO 4Room flat , just the flooring for hall and 3 room , tiles get from tiles shop is $3 per square foot .

Hi Jame,

I am also currently waiting for my 4rm BTO, and is sourcing for reno price quotation from ID(s).

I am only doing tiles on living hall (not in bedrooms), and is quoted @ 1440.

As for the pre-pack sand quote, it is @ 2040 for living hall and 3 rooms.

Is this on the higher side or lower side?

I not sure is high or low , I really confusing.

Every contractor have own story .

Some renovation permit $500 and 1 contractor renovation permit is $FOC.

So far have you check with other contractor ?
