How much to pay for FS audit or master - CASE

Recommended Posts

Sometimes when I read threads, the common questions asked are

a) recommend a reasonably priced FS service

b) no one ever ask "give me an EXPENSIVE FS service"

I assume when people ask for FS service in forum, it is likely they have problems at home  (sorry to hear misfortune) or just bought a property (congrats).

For item (a), what is consider a reasonably priced service ? What one person finds may not equate to reasonably priced for another person. So before engaging a fs service, be prudent as u may need this $ to pay for other stuffs. Remember money once paid will be gone !  And sometimes no effects.  CASE will not entertain such service hor. Neither does Lemon Law applies. Court of Law does not enforce anything UNLESS FS service provider and you draft a contract.

For item (b) - no need to talk about item b because must be a mad person. LOL

To share some thoughts and hoping these could 'shed some light' on this issue.

As a FS seller, the pricing strategy is indifferent from traditional product/service pricing formula which state: The costs (Material,Overhead,Labour) set the floor and demands(branding, quality, delivery, competition, environment......) sets the ceiling. In short, the seller needs understood the 'BQ the Pigs and Donkeys' unspoken rule well and apply it, in order to sell.

Today industries often stress productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, accountability therefore predictivity, so there come published SOR (schedule of rate) for SOW (Scope of work):

The 'angbow' transaction which is basically a 'willing buyer & seller' which holds no morale or legal obligations between parties. Do you like to pay $ for service which seller holds no legal obligations?

As what Kalimanta implied, the FS service basically hold no morale and legal obligations between parties.

So, the worthiness of the consideration in the transaction, is a matter of very personal subjectivity/judgement.
