Clipsal water heater switch

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I need help here. My water heater switch (Clipsal) is not working. After taking out the switch cover, I am hit with a situation.

As the switch is too big, I cannot locate the screw to unscrew the whole thing and replace with a new one.

Can someone advise how to take out the old switch?

Do you mean you want to remove the 20A cover to expose the screws? If so, just tilt and pull it out.

Could I ask how do you know the switch is not working?

P.S. Don't forget to switch off the circuit breakers when doing electrical work.

Yes, I tried to tilt it and the cover came off.

it did not light up when I press on. And after playing it for a while, if I press the on hard enough, the led light came on.

I replaced the whole thing before myself, the plug name was MK.

You have to pull out the whole white button, there should be a screw below. Let me see if my thread is still around.
