Opinion please

I know taste is subjective but just wonder if anyone has advice on what to modify for the colours or combination of the cabinet and sides of island  for a more cosy and pleasant feel.

I think white quartz top goes well for your wet kitchen. perhaps even white for your top cabinet. 

As for your island, a white quartz top goes well too with your wood vinyl on the front, maybe you can consider a recess infront below your island top. Hope these help
