Hi allo,

Nice blog you got there.

The perspective drawings are very well done. :sport-smiley-004:

Cheers. !!

Thank you.....

A little hiccup for our painting job. Yesterday is the 1st day of paint work. Went back to house to take a look today. The effect of the color we have chosen is not what we expected to be. Under Shades Of White, their Iris White has a very blue tone during the daytime(when we were there just now), though its only the 1st coat... cant imagine how dark the color will be after 2-3 coats. Rush home to take the paint catalogs to double confirmed that it's not our ID's mistake. Quite disappointed with what we have seen, cos the effect is not what we want, but that's the decision we have already made.

At night, Mr Limau decided to try our luck. We called our ID to feedback our concern. Much to our relieve, our ID willing to help us to TRY to exchange the unopen cans of paints for the colors we want. Thank goodness, hope tomorrow our ID will bring us good news.

hello allo!

your house looking very good! :P

nice nice..

anyway, the colour of your paint will differ just a little with the type of lights you use and during which time of the day..the effect will be slightly different. it's like your white balance in your digital camera.. :good:

Thanks lurgee.

Maybe the base color is white for our new flat, thats y the Shades of White becoming not so white? haha... dunno lah. Oh well, don't know is this a good news onot? ID said we can change the paints and now we are topping up a little for Nippon 3-in-1 Medifresh range. Elders have been asking us to go for better paints so that next time can 'wash' the wall. Initially we thought aiya, basic paint will do lah, but after thinking awhile, hmmm maybe they are right? Feel bad to put my ID on the spot.

End up we chose White for the walls, no more adventurous spirit to 'try' other colors. As we are going for Modern Theme for the house, and most of the stuffs are Black, White, Red, Grey mah, so pastel color are definitely are out.

Do u guys think there is no 'continuity' if i only add handles on the pull-out drawers only? which is those on the right of the kitchen cabinets... some designers said its either all handle-less or all install handles. what u think?
