Hi...

Very nice home you have...I love your kitchen alot, very stylish! You got an ID for your renovation?

Thanks sumobear!:dunno: yes we got an ID but we came up with some of the designs and ask them to do exactly that lor. actually the purpose of an ID is just to save us trouble liasing with contractors. :jawdrop:

Hi, nice house you have, what is your block no? I have been living there since last year March, mine is at Block 390. You can view my house reno here, I hack down the study room.

Hello Apple78, nice place you have too! We did go to intradesign for quote but their quote is on the high side and they do not have their own contractors as they sub con it out so we did not choose them in the end.

we are at block 387!!

Hi oonik_grl, yes we cannot stand the original bathroom, have decided to do up the toilets even before we thought of getting a flat haha! :notti:

Yes we are into minimalistic look while trying to keep it cosy as well. I love my kitchen too! nice kitchen means only for show, cannot cook one haha :)

Erm...I do not really trust an ID because only a small number of IDs in Singapore are good. Those self-claimed IDs are out to ripped people off. Thats why I go to a contractor but then my contractor is not a very good one as he is kind of "uncle" so have to educate him things about design. On top of that I wanna cut the extra cost for an ID.

May I know how much you spent for your renovation? Excluding the fixtures and furnishings.

Yah must be careful, some IDs sub con their reno work to third party contractors so the IDs need to earn and the contractors also need to earn so more expensive, they can't always monitor the progress of the sub con so I look for those IDs with their own workers.

and also I don't want to liase with 'uncles' about design, they don't seems to understand ... :)

Our renovations excluding furnitures and fixtures is about 31.5K. :jawdrop:

Quite a good price for your renovation based on the area space.
