Yea love the sloppy Sofa that is from Comfort Design. Slightly over a grand for damage.

Hmm sadly, couldnt build a island lol but close guess mishmish, wood grain laminates with off-white quartz on the way for my kitchen cabs. No top just the suspending bottom :)

Here's the next update :

Brick walls setup finally

IMG_4279_zps5b367cf2.jpg

As you'all could observed the markings, the tiler had to remove and redo the tiling.

reason due to not leaving gap in-between. but stacking on one another instead, which wasnt what i expected.

my wifey almost gone crazy, her beloved design almost turn into a disaster..

luckily ID came out with an idea to create a gap for us..phew*

Haa yea maintaining the sofa could be rather troublesome.. but hmm.. anyway could'nt think that much for its looks! haa! we'll see along the way~~

For the craft bricks;

IMG_4270_zps968d6fae.jpg

Managed to get a pic initially before it was asked to takedown.

Could'nt imagine if tiler had them filled up.. phew*

Did not want a "yiu xiu" kinda effect lols!

IMG_4285_zpsfcdb6cd3.jpg

After, could noticed the difference significantly. more natural at least to her.. :)

Oh btw my dinning bench!

Wow! The brick wall looks awesome! I wish I can do something like that to my living room too!

Are you intending to keep it this way or are you gonna cover it up and paint over it?

Yea they had hacked the wall in bits and pieces evenly to create a slight depth for the cement to hold on the tiles firmly.

Heard from them the tiles weigh easily 300-400kg to stick on my 7ft wall.. so rather be on the safe side.

The grouting works this morning! here's a slight preview:

IMG_4307_zps64e120bc.jpg

Stuffing white grout, gona leave it as it is, not painting over after he's done.

*tip of the day* had to remove the existing skirting when hacking, then replace by tiles. To give it a complete look!

will drop by after work to check if its done ! hopefully can surprised my OC heheh :P
