Planning a children's room for two or more goes beyond decoration and design, since parents have to ensure their kids share the space harmoniously. It's a pretty exciting project, especially for the siblings involved, and here are some tips which may help you along the way.
1. Get Input From Your Kids
Right from the start, get your kids involved in any discussions pertaining to their room. Ask them to contribute whatever ideas they'd like, while editing suggestions only when they become too overboard or impractical.
Involving children in the planning process creates good teamwork between siblings, and also allows kids to start tapping into their creative side from a younger age. Not to mention, you'll definitely hear less complaints from them since they had a say in how their room looked.

This could come in the form of a secluded playhouse or teepee; an isolated space for your child to spend some quiet time doing simple things like catching up on a book.
4. Set Rules
Most children aren't always well behaved, and most siblings get into arguments and fights from time to time. From the get go parents should set some ground rules, so they'll know what's expected of them when they start sharing a room.
For example, set rules about sharing so they won't get into unnecessary squabbles, as well as respecting one another's personal belongings even if it is a shared space. Involve them when creating your list of rules; they may end up adhering to them even better.
