Hi everyone. Its been a long while since i wanted to post my reno journey here. Been getting ideas and designs from fellow bloggers and I feel its time for me to contribute! To cut it short, here's the floorplan layout of my 4 Room BTO standard. As u can see, the design is slightly different from a typical 4 room BTO unit. The living/dining is an L shaped desiign. The HS is tucked into the kitchen. Due to that, the kitchen is waaaayyy too smallll!!. The first thing on me and wifey's mind is to hack away the service yard walls. But on the other hand, the MBR is slightly longer. Here's pics of the unit upon our first entry into the house.

Global as in from T-mall/Taobao? haha got my courage to buy from seeing other t-bloggers' purchases! Will share when we finally set it up.. it takes about 2 weeks to ship and we'll probably wait for our reno to be done first too.

Glad it helped! Sometimes I wonder if I regret not going with Nick. He's a great guy, meticulous and works very well, very candid as well, but I was a bit scared of his reactions in the first meeting so didn't go with him eventually. But my chosen contractor totally no design input one so a lot of things I wondered if I could've done differently. I mean, I only have a handful of small regrets around the house, but sometimes you wonder how different it would be if you went with someone else. Anyway, excited to see how your house turns out.
