Glad that you moved on with the hacking. Carpentry are expensive. I rather spent the money to make a full height cabinet with TV mount, like mine.have storage and solve the console issue. If insists to have, be prepare to pay thru the nose. Many got it from JB, TB or Tmall, no issues so far. I manage to control my whole house lightings to below 1.5k. I prefer simple, easy to clean and maintain. The most fanciful one is in MBR toilet, ironically. My ID is Mr. Foo from Custombox, not J&E though.

Hi.. Happened to see your post asking abt KC. We engaged them for our resale flat 2 yrs ago, can share my exp for your reference. We got them to do redo our 2 toilets and kitchen, changing the tiles, sanitary items and kitchen cabinets. Those were the few areas we were quite uncomfortable w taking over from the prev owner. The whole reno process went quite smoothly and they managed to handover well before the dateline as I had quite abit of time to move in. One area we find very commendable abt them is that, they were very patient during discussions and provided alot of great advice on how we could design our place and still work within our budget. Nevertheless, there were some minor hiccups but they were very responsive and were there to sort out the issues for us. Regarding workmanship, I would say that they met our expectations and already 2 years down, our cabinets still works good as new. And I am very glad I opted for the quartz top recommended by them. We were thinking to go for solid surface, considering it is lower in cost. However, they advised that quartz has better stain and scratch resistance, which true enough, our kitchen top is still in perfect condition today. Overall, my exp with KC Carpenter was definitely a good one. Have already recommended several of my friends to them, and they also had the same good exp. (P.S. Dont mind my kitchen abit cluttered )

Ya i tried ordering vanity cabinet fr ezbuy prime. But they reverted that high possibility of damage and they wldnt be held responsible. I figured no point wasting the $200 plus and item comes damaged so i din buy in e end. You can try ezbuy.sg or oops

will definitely look very spacious!!! amazing design by S! =) when are you collecting your keys? did u plan for any store? =) maybe you can take that into consideration? is your balcony open or close? will rain comes in? how about your yard area? cant seem to see it on the floor plan. =) just a few KPO questions.. hehe.. will be staying tune to see the whole process!!

Oh thanks for supporting my blog. If the chair color is not nice, then change again lor... already painted what. But I think I'll trust your ID for his taste/color coordination. Seriously do consider painting the chairs. I'm glad your ID has suggested painting the chairs cos it shows that he cares about the project. Pity you can't change the ScanTeak sets... not a fan of ScanTeak designs. Lotsa nice DIY ideas on the net like this ombre chair (http://www.designsponge.com/2012/04/diy-project-shades-of-blue-ombre-chair.html) If it's all woody furniture really could turn out quite bleh color wise as I've seen in some homes.
