Do you regret hacking away your storeroom? With loads of junk and unsightly stuff to put away how do you manage them? I'm thinkinf of whether to relocate my storeroom or just leave it out...

I guesstimate the time my flat to be ready somewhere end OCT so i fixed the delivery to be OCT and will call them about that time to fix a proper date. For myself i don't really have the time to worry cos i'm doing the designing of my new home by myself, and with research i'm doing i think i almost can engage sub-contractors by myself just that i don't have the time and hard-cash to do everything seperately.

Hi Lilian i just placed a deposit with Ackerman for the Arlington Plush Mattress too. My advice is take all the advices and comments our fellow forumers suggested with a pinch of salt. I do not mean that they are not useful, but there's no point worrying yourself over incidents that happened to others. Lets' just keep our fingers crossed and hope we get what we paid for.

Seriously, if someone would open up a packet of food and first thing she can think of is that explicit, then she must have been thinking of it real hard to begin with... Why can't people just look at life abit simpler and laugh it off...?

From what i've been reading usually the kitchen cabinet part of the wall is usually naked cept for the exposed part betweeen the top and bottom cabinet where you have your backsplash. When you say water leakage, from where exactly? the built in sink? If i could i'd probably just paint the whole kitchen with easy wash or water resistance paint ;p Oh and 1 question, when we say water proofing of the kitchen, what exactly do they do and to which areas of the kitchen or bathroom?

Yeah the 1/2 height idea came from the old fashion hdb houses. Guess i'll just tile the empty wall only.

In an attempt to further cut cost for the renovations, i'm contemplating 1/2 height wall tiles for kitchen and bathroom wall. Any opinions on the pros and cons of either?

Whenever i see length of kitchen cabinets in renovation example "10ft kitchen cabinet" does it refer to both top and bottom? And the pricing i see stated by fellow forumers like $100 pfr is for top & bottom? or just bottom? Lets give an example if i want to make a 10ft kitchen cabinet @ $100 pfr means it's 2k?

Does anyone know where to get these kind of dividers locally?
