off-the-shelf tv console would already have holes pre-drilled for you. As for feature wall, those carpentry guys will normally know what size of hole to drill. Seriously 80-100mm (8-10cm!!) is way too big. And ya, doing a feature wall without a matching TV console is totally weird. Then u'll have to scratch your head over buying a matching colour + length TV console. And also now u already see the next headache: how to hide the wires. (pple do feature wall purpose is to hide the wires)

BK one complain to ECTC abt the sticky lifts, stay tune.

How Much To Replace Cast Iron Sewage Pipe ?
hihihi replied to passat88's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
wait for a lucky time to remove and replace the pipe. forgot the cost, something in the few hundreds. There's one more in the toilet. and changing that, long term wise will also have problem. the ceiling joint part eventually will leak. takes abt 5yrs. -
fire-rated door outter appearance will look just like any normal door while inside is solid and reinforced, and certainly is not hollow sound. why u need to change the maindoor? Just leave it. if the floor height is not match, can saw away part of the door.

different brands, their definition of "warm" or "yellow" is different. perhaps using T5 will make it less bright to achive your mood. T5 is the thinner tube than the commonly seen T8.

they didn't do a good job to clean up the sticky tape residue in the lifts and every floor landing. the entire lift from inside out just look so dirty. if grab onto the lift handles, u're sure to feel those sticky stuff somewhere. conclusion: area cleaning = FAIL

actually everywhere also have, don't have to go so high class. even your neighbourhood watch shop or hardware shop will carry it.

How Long Does It Take To Boil Water With Traditional Kettle?
hihihi replied to ziztine's topic in Electronics & Electricals
need to see what is your concern. Coz this qns cannot be answered objectively. Alot of other factors e.g flame design.. some hob got inner flame+outer flame, therefore boils faster. fast speed/time = go for electrical low cost = go for stove
