The LED strips, there are 2 types & either water proof or non water proof. 5050 - Is the brightest, I got it non water proof at $20 per meter, water proof be few $$ more, the sales guy told me get non waterproof better coz the plastic casing will turn yellow over time. Cost of the driver or transformer whatever u call it, depends on how big it is, the guy need to calculate how many ampere & provide you with the suitable driver. Of coz the higher the amp, the more exp it is. Mine cost $32 to power 2x 3.5 meter strips. I got it in Sim Lim Tower, juz tell them how long u need it how you want it to run & they will cut accordingly. The prices stated in above posting is absurd.

Oh dear, I bought an Englander Hotel Deluxe (King size) + storage bed frame for $3.1k from Jason during last furniture exhibition in expo. He is a smooth talker, also anyway we like the bed after lying on it & price suits our budget. Their storage bed frame looks better & its deeper than rest. Hope everying goes well...

want cheap, want comfy, want good reviews, want long lasting, want good technology.. i oso want this kinda mattress.. u shd try out all the mattress, see which 1 u like best & suits ur budget.. dun have to worry so much. even premium mattress oso got bad reviews. no mattress is perfect. mqybe u shd try seahorse.

I was at the last 2 furniture fair, was looking ard, tis c*****n was serving me. Kept promoting her "award winning" sofa which to me seem ordinary & common. Price wise so so.. Skali she got interupted by an ah soh who i tink is another staff of inch design. The ah soh was talking angrily on the phone & seem like scolding some1.. I was very turned off as the ah soh like totally disregarded me.. I walk away.

I actually told contractor 1 storage heater to run 3 toilets, he told me need additional pipe down & he scared in future ceiling might leak...i hear liao i gave up the idea but i tink back i should have gone for it coz toilet above got shower screen so not the whole toilet be wet oso quoted me additional $60 only per hot point.

Dats 1 of my regret too, not installing storage heater for 1st floor toilet & kitchen, coz the kitchen water tap i bought have hot & cold hose.

Thanks, this is the biggest trunking in the mbr toilet for me, which will be drilled to 2nd floor passage way to connect to the other 2 rooms. There is another small trunking running downwards along side the shower screen for drainage.. I only have nitemare about the shortened height glass door..sianz.. Im not sure how urs is runned in mbr..

Hi RB outside the window is external wall of HDB liao..dun tink installer can do trunking outside.. My toilet door entrance will be boxed up & be shortened by 4 inches, still sufficient for me to go through,im 1.81m & still got maybe 2 inches above me, but then look bit wierd only.. guess got to live with it, consulted few parties regarding this liao..

Hi CS.. Ur MBR layout is same as mine, see pic below, ignore the fugly trunking.. I made the installer redo the trunking in MBR FOC.. The new trunking will run on top of the window, along the upper beam, aircon unit will be shifted bit to rite. What im disturbed is the trunking part to the MBR toilet, installer say is too thick to drill through the beam so ran across the door which will make my MBR toilet entrance 4 inch shorter. I spoke to the installer boss, my own contractor, they oso say cannot, too thick..im so tempted to see my neighbour unit to see how they lay the aircon trunking but after seeing your pic, ur wall on top of mbr toilet door seems thinner.

at this stage, isnt it better to juz get them to deliver the furniture than to ask for refund? 99% u wont get ur $ back..

Need ur contractor to measure cooker & hob no need buy the whole ting 1st ma? They wont take out measure also, Best give them a brochure which shows the dimension of ihe items. Is enuf for them. The items i bought, all i put at my place, contractor chase me then i bring items needed over..

Usually, I will see the papers or drop by the big boys electrical stores to see what I want and the best price or free gifts given. Then will drop by the small boys store to ask for their best quote. They can beat the big boys in term of prices hands down. I rather get cheaper price than get those stupid gifts offered by big boys, which is almost useless or I already have it. But i know some people (especially my wife) is sceptical of small boys shop, she went with me to 1 shop, she see aredy she was not impressed, no aircon, shop like so run down..then say no warranty blah2.. Its like eating in restaurant or kopi tiam/hawker centre, same ting but different price.

Need to check with u guys... During my almost daily inspection, i was wondering y the tilers did not tile at the areas where the built in cabinet will be located, there was even no tiles behind the pipe which will be boxed up. Called contractor, he say dat area will be boxed up or build cabinet, he say even if i tear down cabinet, the tiles behind cabinet will be damaged. Then proceed to say if i wanna tile the area behind cabinet, it will cost me more..he assure me everyone do like dat. Hmmm, call.my frd, he say contractor tiled the area i mentioned.. Isit true? Dun like the feeling of getting shortchanged.
