I had to locate my stove to the SW sector of the kitchen. Currently it is in the East. Bad part is at the SW sector, the whole area is a window, so basically I have no hood.

I gave my ID 8-weeks. He said it could be done in 6-7 weeks. We'll see. I told him that I wll hold back final payment if there is a delay. Can't afford any delays I our currently flat will hopefully be rented out 3rd week of June. So far there seem to be following the schedule quite well bar a few hiccups whhich is not their fault but the faultof MSCT.

Well, no flooring for the bedrooms. The rest of the place is a complete overhaul. Floors in living dining, corridor, family room, 3 toilets + walls, kitchen, yard and utility. Builtin wardrobes in 4 bedrooms. Ceiling works, painting, grinding and polishing of parquet. Demolishion and removal of all the existing carpentry and there was loads. I'm trying to make myself feel better, it's not really working. It's **** expensive Very old unit, so need to do up a lot.

Amount for complete overhaul is about right. My reno alone costs 80K including electrical. Factor another 20-25K for windows, grills, AC, lights, curtains, sanitary ware and some additional furniture. For my 4 bedroom, I did not even replace the flooring. Just grind and revarnish the parquet. I'm not even hacking anything and it's a single level unit. Trying not to cut corners, no point as eventually will need to re-do. Might as well get it all right first time for me. ' Good luck with the reno.
