the price listed at Cool Serve website include all the "so-called" upgrade package? Like Class 0 insulator, Copper 22, 16mm drainage pipe.

Is it a normal practice for the aircon contractor to charge additional for dismantle/dispose your existing air-con before installing new one? Coz I'm not re-using the pipe and the trunking route also different. The additional charge is $150. Reasonable? By the way, anyone know what is the price range for Mitsubishin Sys 3 Non-Inverter now? I got the quote for 2.1k, but the contractor can't even answer me what type of insulator they used, gosh......... Will be going down to GC soon.

Final Inspection Before 2nd Appointment!
Jeig replied to skyy's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
The HDB Officer called me just now to explain all this thing. The officer mentioned that the completion of the transaction has been putting on hold till all parties agree to take up the HDB reno package, plus the undertake letter that I gotta sign. Geezz.........think I better call my lawyer now. -

Final Inspection Before 2nd Appointment!
Jeig replied to skyy's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
Did an early inspection and found out the leakage. Talked to my agent and the seller agreed to pay for the reno work by taking up a HDB package. But by the time that HDB bill came in, I'm already the owner of the unit, so I'm advised by the agent to sign a undertake letter to say that I'll pick up the bill and the seller will pass me the cash before 2nd appointment. Is that sound logical? By the way, shall I inform my lawyer at this time? My 2nd appointment is still 3 weeks down the road. -
After 1st Appointment, What's Next?
Jeig replied to alphakim's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
I also want to renovate earlier while waiting for 2nd appointment, but the seller want to play safe, so has to wait till the 2nd appointment...... -

Anyone can tell me where can I find such sofa and how much likely to be?
-
I know what I want, coz not going after those 'wow' design. Just simple and neat. My own estimation: 3 - 4k Master bathroom 5 - 6k Kitchen 1 - 1.5k Painting 0.5 - 1k Misc (wash + labour for installation + wiring, etc...) does this calculation realistic?
-
So you suggest not to do anything to common toilet, and not to change wc and basin as well right? My concern is that if the cost of doing just common toilet next time would be much higher due to contractor's profit margin, that's what I saw in other threads. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Just bought a 4A resale unit, but hasn't gotten the key yet. With tight budget after paying for the COV on the purchase So just plan to do partial renovation to the unit, hope someone could give me advice, e.g. how much time the reno will take, go for ID or contractor, how much it would cost.... Kitchen: Remove the existing table top & cabinet (top + bottom), about 13 feet length Build 13 feet bottom cabinet, 13 feet top cabinet Granite table top 13 feet (assuming the contractor count the cooking hob area as well?) Hack off existing 5 feet wall tiles (can I remain floor tiles?) Supply & lay full-height wall tiles Stainless Steel plate for the cooking area's wall Master Bathroom Replace existing toiletware (I'll buy the wc, basin, square rain shower etc) Hack off wall tiles and floor tiles Supply & lay full-height wall tiles and homogenous floor tiles Build shower kerb Shower screen Replace the toilet window with those pull-out aluminium window Change the toilet door to frosted glass door Others Repaint whole house Install the lights and 1x ceiling fan Chemical wash whole house And 1 last question, can I change the wc without hacking the toilet floor tiles? That's for the common bathroom as I don't think I have extra money to do up the common bathroom.
