?! mmm How old is your flat? A lot of flats are prefab now.. I think.. 10 yr and below got a lot.. .. I just very curious about this matter... cos prefab walls aren't really hollow.. they are made in a factory and put up like lego but... not hollow ma.. mmm I just read through the HDB guidelines on building work in the toilets and they never mention about no hacking of wall tiles on prefab walls. They only say cannot hack floor and wall toilet tiles within 3 years of newly constructed buildings la.

cement screed in the toilet can la. nowadays very fashionable for cement screed look. but PAINT over in the toilet no good... cos toilet a lot of moisture will peel ba... esp if you have a habit of bathing hot water... overlaying in toilets is never really advised but the ID can always check your walls to see how good the current tiles are. What some contractors expressed to me is that it's best not to overlay in toilet la cos the chances of tiles popping is the higher ba due to hollow wall tiles..

mmm maybe after final measurements the carpenter decided not enough for 4 doors ba.. Maybe you find out from ID? It could be that the cabinets are now slightly wider... then can tell wifey that the cabinets can contain more despite fewer? I bought a few rods from ikea that can be used to hang stuff. Ikea catalogue see liao looks very nice. and it's cheap too. Maybe can suggest to her that can use that to maximise the space? I'm sure she'll be ok after a while. Good luck!!

For the first time this week I didn't go take a look at the house!!! haha I think I'll hop over tomorrow when they aren't working. But I have some stuff we got for the house! wheee!! Little lego-like photo frames!! I got them for the reunion gathering tomorrow but I bought extra so that I can keep some in my room. hahahaha The other stuff are from Ikea... Boxes big and small to organise our stuff... This long rod to drill into the kitchen wall so that we can hang the following stuff... cups to hold our cutlery (and two for the bathrooms to hold toothpaste) $1 each... Paper Towel Hanger... Spice Rack Hooks to hang towels, and other utensils... Our dish rack. Our sink comes with a basket... so this is additional. And lastly.. Hooks to hang clothing on in the common toilet!! Whee I love home shopping.

WAHHH the green kitchen turn out Super nice! I love the shoe cabinet. and the hello kitty doorbell very cute lor. My mom says ah... LPG will leak little by little one. She said my old house use LPG. There was once where we didn't cook for 2 months cos we were away when we came back the cans were empty. So we're switching to citygas. She says for light users it's cheaper... mmm Like applefreak says... shouldn't have min charges.
