  1. Actually, by cleaning, it is like "washing" the interior with a wet cloth. This is what I gathered from the delivery guys. They also said that after cleaning, open all the doors to "air" it for 2 hours first, before you eventually turn on the power to use it.
  2. Hey p3nguins, so I see you were referring to the monitor of my notebook. At first thought, I was wondering if you were referring to the male group singer from Taiwan, but I couldn't find anything in my room on them mah, haha... Anyway, you got it right eventually.
  3. Oh I see, understood, I guess is the camera "effect"? Otherwise, by looking at the photo (in blue), like not every good for the eyes. If you were there, and it is white, then ok lor - no issue. Just a comment. Haha...
  4. Hey gu77, your carpentry works looks good wor. By the way, out of curiosity, your bedroom light is some "blue-ish" colour is it ah?
  5. Thanks, but the hob is my mother's selection, so I won't take away her credit. Haha... Sorry-sorry, I "lost" you, what F4 ah??
  6. Wah, your floor plan looks big, and it is definitely easy for planning. I didn't know that there is point block for 4-room flat, now I know. Haha...
  7. Don't say until like that, I "shy-shy" leh, haha... I bought it as it is of a newer model, looks good to me. My mother needs to do her cleaning first (she is very particular, so she will handle herself), so I have not used it yet.
  8. Hey rierie, just realised that your fridge is the same model as the one I bought wor! Haha, cheers!!
  9. Hi Marcussy, congratulations and welcome to RT!! Do update with us lots of photos wor. Wishing you a smooth reno process. Cheers!!
  10. Messy Study Room Here is a "first" look at my study room. The first photo shows 5 "boxes" on the left side, but stacked up. So tiring to do unpacking. Sianz...
  11. I didn't come in for a day, and all the posts like "bull-run" shares, moving so FAST. Don't where to start, haha. So I might as well do a little update, before catching up with other blogs. Update 8 City Gas Activation Yesterday morning's schedule (1030 to 1230) was brought forward by almost an hour earlier, which is good. The 2 guys from City Gas called up to check if they could come earlier, and I was lucky I was there in the house already. This is my Rinnai Hob (which I think I’ve never shown a close-up photo) with and without the fire flame.
  12. Ok, pardon me for not signing in last night. Here's the information for you about my frame: Damage was $1188 from "Full House Home Furnishing" at Serangoon Ave 4. You should shop around elsewhere to see if there is any other design to your likings, hopefully there is, and the price is better than mine. I won't say mine is a good price, come to think of it, it looks like it is of a higher end price. All the best!!
  13. Rondy & pbtgal, I do not have any antiques except some coins and notes from "yester-years". Haha...
  14. Hi pbtgal, thanks for your sharing. I will definitely post the blind issue when I manage to try it out – hopefully by next week. Too many little things to settle. By the way, my mother also has something of that sewing machine at her place, but she won't be bringing over though, phew!!
  15. Wah, rolexboy, thanks for the informative insight to a "look-like simple" issue. Will definitely take note of your point, glad that you even brought it up for my attention. Really appreciate it! Cheers!
  16. Hi p3nguins, your word travel is like a "hidden meaning" is it? But yes, a lot of travelling indeed, haha...
  17. Actually, like I mentioned - I was expecting long term rather than short term. Anyway, it is very much a long story with some other issues involve, don't think I should bore the rest of them here. Will tell you more when we ever meet up for a "session", so that you can have a better "picture" of the whole story... Got to go "home" already, will chat again when I am online, it's getting late (I have no mattress here, haha...).
  18. No, I bought Changi Rise in 2004. However, I did went overseas for a short while (expecting long term actually) in 2007, which is why I need to sell off. You may suggest to rent it out, but my house got all Plasma TV, DVD recorder and everything, don't think I feel safe renting out, thus sell! Just to cut long story short...
  19. I always got my freedom what, haha... To think I also had stayed alone previously (2004 - 2007) before at my own condo, that was truly PARADISE!! Too bad, due to work commitment and all, got to give it up. Oh well, that's life!
  20. Just now already tried calling, but no one pick it up!! MY current place - you never see my heading meh - Bedok. Old place is my mother's, will be renting out next year. Why only next year? Because my youngest niece is K2 near old place (my mother looking after), once she finish this year, then all will come over lor...
  21. Plaza Sing, very "ley-chey" leh, I might try at Century Square first tomorrow, nearer and not in town mah. But thanks for pointing out another option.
  22. Hello again, The overall dimensions are 248 cm by 208 cm (length by width). The "sunken" part is for Queen size bed. I am now at my new place, but receipt at old place. So tomorrow then I reply you about cost and place hor. Troublesome for myself coz my internet is at new place... Cheers!!
