Sigh...checked with contractor today tt the uneveness is due to different tile size as sizes differ from batch to batch...dunno how true..

Went to inspect some of the tiling works for toilet and notice some defects.. 1) Top tiles height are uneven 2) Cuttings not straight 3) Line not straight (1 pc is used, so shd be striaght rite??) 4) Alignment is out Dunno whether to ask the contractor to re-tile them again. Or are we too stringent?

we noticed some of the toilet accessories are missing in our house..though we told the contractor on the 1st dae of hackin tat we wanna retain those...hence, we went ahead n buy new set of toilet accessories for both toilets...do u think we can ask the contractor to reimburse us? though the set we bought may not be exactly the same model/material as the old set? hmmm... we bought all our toilet accesories from Eng Soon Huat...the person who serve us is ah Ting and we find her service quite gd n patient... here's the list of things we bought in all for $1390 - 2 pc toilet bowl x2 + pan collar - square basin x2 - kitchen sink (1 bowl 1 drainer) - kitchen tap - basin taps x 2 - push up waste (basin stopper) x2 - 2 way tap - 707 heater compact - stainless steel glass shelf x2 (matt) - stainless steel toilet paper holder x2 (matt) - stainless towel rack and hooks x2 (matt) hope its a gd buy...

hi hi i bought mine at $2k...but without cushion and for size up til 2.8m onli...read somewhere someone got it abt same price but with duno hw many cushion..sian diao... anywae u can take a look at the sofa pic in my blog...the color and the length oso can decide later...according to the salesperson length can b flexible say 2.78 oso can...the person who serve us is a preggie lady whom i tink is quite knowlegable n friendly...nt hard sell...though now im hopin i can get the 2 cushion fr them sigh... ahjane, hw much did u get yours for? hav u started washing it? izit realli machine washable huh?

Well, managed to find out tt the so call 'elephant' brand is Power Dekor!! Anyway, any advice on whether this Power Dekor is better or Supreme is better

anyone heard of the brand 'ace floor' for laminated flooring? this is the brand provided by my contractor leh...when i asked him whether got any other brand..he said Singapore mainly is this brand (known affectionately as 'elephant' brand by my contractor) or supreme but he has no dealin wif supreme... the grade given by him is AC3 how huh? any advice on this brand? shld i go with this or insist on getting supreme (which is more well known ya)...

Keep yr kitchen cabinet as it seems to be in good condition. And it will help you to keep yr reno cost down too..I'm still keeping my cabinet though they are >7yrs old but need to change the top...

Yes! We finally signed up with a contractor today! Will start the hecking & stuff on tues. Will reserve our comments for my contractor after the reno and hope that all things will go smoothly. Hopefully got time to go over to take some photos Btw, just wondering, do we need to inform our neighbours before all the hecking and knocking starts??
