OK, look forward to your photos. About the stainless steel 305, it is better than the normal 304 stainless steel sink that we find here. This is due to the higher nickel content which helps to reduce corrosion. The thickness should be 1mm.

Hi Shkeat, Which lighting shop in jb did you go to. Are the downlights suitable to be used for HDB. Understand that some of the downlight has longer depth. Regarding the kitchen sink, will they drill the hole for the tap or it comes blank and your contractor drill for you?

Side track abit. Do we have to check with the electrical guy on what kind of downlight to buy (eg. size, depth etc) or we can just get any downlight to fit into the false ceiling.

Yes very tough. One way I can think of is just buy the things and ask them to deliver at a later date. Not sure if possible. I just want to recce which is the shop that I would likely buy from. If there are promotion items, maybe can buy first. So when the time comes, won't be so tiring.

My wife was very mad at me for giving him a second chance again and again. I guess he is up to his neck now and has difficulty coping. That day when I met him, he just rushed out my quote on the spot and quickly order his dinner. He told me he didn't take any food since breakfast. The quote was too brief and there are many errors. Some of the items I wanted are not in the quote. I will have to discuss with him again when he is not that busy.

Do you mean "Black Galaxy" granite. If not, think it is not a good idea using black solid surface. Scratches are more obvious.

May I know what is your ceiling fan model. I did not see any KDK fan that look similar to yours. The nearest is KY-143. Did your contractor make any modification to the pole?

Frankly if you consider his quote per items without the discount, it can cost more than ID. But the discount he gave is very attractive. Maybe that is the amount ID markup for their service. My only concern is the aftersales service since it is always difficult to meet him.
