Yah.. Joseph called them and they appeared the following day to fix them.. The wiring was already completed previously, so it's faster this time round.. Still have a bit of wiring undone, waiting for the carpentry to be up.. Very minimal though.. The painting completed in around 3 days, excluding Sun by 3 malay guys.. After this plastering of one wall, the Malay guy needs to come up again liao..

With Jospeh's good PM, I already dun need to chase and chase like the past.. After much consideration, we have decided to only plaster one wall.. Our plastering is completed today, now it's nice nice and smooth smooth.. And the new lights are also all UP as well.. Happy that the entire house is bright bright.. Or else we can hardly do much checking and pasting of masking tape after work at night.. Wanted to take some photos of the lights, but my phone camera is too lousy.. So shall wait for Smartie's DSLR to 出马了.. Changed some spolit light bulbs today and saw a nice dining light at Edison Lightings.. OMG.. Initially, we have no intention to change the dining light and now I'm tempted.. Tomorrow should be able to clear the debris liao.. Then it's the misc things to clear before the carpentry can be up.. My neck is very very long liao..

I'm looking forward to see your home this sat.. and the swee swee lock.. so tempting..

No one told me about the giving more time for the masonry works.. hmmm.. My installation of the fittings was done the next day after the tiling completed for my toilets.. And indeed I have a lot of hollow tiles..

My parents love me too much liao.. I can count with my fingers on the no. of times I need to help out in household chores.. My parents always shoo me away.. The most freq chore that I do is ironing and that merely happen probably few times a year.. So think I will turn orange, worse than yellow.. haha.. I will try out this kind of weekly cleaning and see how it goes.. Somehow, my bros are able to do it on their own after they move out, so hopefully it runs in the genes.. hee..

Updates for today.. Painting had completed for the entire house.. But because the plastering was not done to the entire wall, two walls are in quite a bad condition passing down from the previous owner.. Therefore, I requested for a complete wall plastering and re-painting for 2 walls.. After much complaints and pleading, finally Smartie allowed me to go ahead.. Met Joseph today to go through the lists of things that need to be done.. It's a list of nitty gritty things that need to be done before carpentry is up.. And he's very patient in listening to me and writing down everything.. And I propose a HO of 20-Jun.. If my carpentry dun delay, this date looks feasible so far.. Keeping my finger crossed..

At least you have some surprises.. Hopefully your house can resume work soon..

If nothing goes wrong this sat, I also want to see it live.. You have a lot of carpentry for us to see..

Think the sofa seat size is pretty standard, not those exceptionally big kind.. perhaps the curving design makes it look bigger.. PM you the price..

Thanks thanks.. We are in search of a sofa for almost 2 to 3 months.. So we are super duper happy to finally settle for one that both of us like.. It's not those usual boxy kinda of leather sofa and more modern looking.. It's a love at first sight for both of us.. This colour is very nice kinda of beige colour, under orange light, it's yellowish colour.. Quite to our theme as well.. But I find that this colour is too common, so I top up to change a more earth colour that resembles brown and greyish kind.. And it matches to our living room feature wall colour..

I can understand your worry with another carpenter that you dun know who is he... But I believe since Uncle already knew your tons of problems with carpentry, he wouldn't find another lousy one for you bah.. If you dun mind waiting, be firm to tell Uncle that you want Ah Wei, just him and no one else..

Try to drop the keys with Uncle first thing in the morning bah.. He's an early riser.. Yah.. Now GSS.. good time to buy things.. But still make sure to bargain more even though they say it's already discounted..

PM'ed you liao.. Initally, they also dun let me take Ah Wei one.. Becos Uncle knew Ah Wei is very busy with quite a no. of carpentry on hand.. However, because Joseph took over as PM and he only works with Ah Wei, that's why we got him in the end.. Perhaps yours is more in a rush, therefore Uncle wanted somebody who is not so tied up to settle yours fast fast? If you are really not comfortable with Ah Di, you better go and take a look at his workmanship fast.. Or else raise your concerns and be firm to tell Uncle that you want Ah Wei.. Ultimately, you are the one paying.. So must be firm on what you want and deserve..

Really hard to find a huge white fridge and 4 ticks! So far, only F & P have mainly four ticks..
