Metal strip between tiles? Placed between the kitchen floor and living room tiles?

Can't wait to see the tiles when its laid. Visit LSH & Hafary 3 times each... then finally settle on very simple colors.... don't want to be too adventurous (maybe signs of ageing...). Current home used bright orange for the cabinets, this time, going to take the conventional colors:)

Depending on where you getting your stuff, HN now has pretty good sales. But I got my hob+hood & heater from the shops along Jln Besar, they don't have GSS there;) Similarly, the lightshops I've visited along Balestier also don't bother about GSS.

We like replying to each other on others' threads;) Just replied to you at Tulip's thread. Didn't ask him when tiling starts, hacking just started today, he said another 2 days or so. I'll pop by Thursday evening to take a look, real busy with work these days. I'm glad to leave most of the project mgnt work to Yeak, very comfortable with him. I remember late Sunday night, the night before they started hacking, he sms to check if we are hacking the cornices. I think it shows that he really thinks about the work carefully.

Mark is from Wellmax, Tulips using him for windows (or window grilles??) and gate. Yeak does grilles and windows too but I'm just trying to see if can find another alternative, since he sort of refers these to a sub-contractor anyway.

Lots of hacking and work should have started this morning. Now looking for some lobangs for: 1. Wallpaper - Only heard of Goodrich & Europa (any good sales person) or other brands 2. Solar film – Only read about Sun-X and Coolnlite, others and where to get them? 3. Windows + Gate – got a contact from Tulip, just looking for one more (occupational hazard of working in the civil sector, need 3 quotes to be comfortable...) 4. Curtains – Gotten from Golden Leaf, as above, another one or 2 more to be comfortable. Anyone with recommendations?

Thanks for the comments, shortlisting this one and unless something similar appears at this price range, probably get it in July. Now selling $799-$899 at some places, pretty good deal IMO. Especially since we'll rarely use the dryer but its there just in case we need it.

Have you found your kim kim tiles? Saw some at Hafary yesterday, got silver, sparkling blue, etc.
