Update from me again Glad to see yesterday that 50% of the fales ceiling is up... and its only the 9th day of our reno.. its super fast MBR bathroom tiles 100% finish... not to mention my fridge & washing machine base also done up after tearing away the old cabinet. Today the bathroom item will be delivered to our house ready for installation I think by tomorrow or maybe if they are fast when I get home today after work its already installed

The 5th day or reno... Shock!!! Do not worry.. its a happy shock Well the elect. wiring is up almost 100% just that hubby felt that some of the trunking is ugly so he is meeting uncle later in the afternoon to talk about the trunking in the studyroom or the bedroom 3 in our floor plan. The rest is still ok. See the big "J" trunking near the window... Hubby was wondring why cannot do a "l" or reverse "L" trunking The trunking which go around the wall... look so messy... Will need to sort this out with uncle We are pleased that our MBR bathroom tiles are 80% up and I totally love the wall tiles... did you see the lines in the tiles?? NICE!!! Hubby pick it and I love it and of coz I love him too. MBR Toilet - Basin area with tiles done MBR Toilet - Shower area with tiles done.... Hate the big piping but nothing can be done so no choice... As long it dun affect my rainshower can already

Hahaha I know what I just tell you.. all is personal preference. I also learnt along the way.. you will too after a while You have to tell your wife do reno got to do long lasting one.. of coz there is nothing long lasting in the world but of coz you want to keep it to the max shelf-life. I think you got to reconsider doing laminate in the bathroom (I think you are doing no. 1 in the bathroom) cause our house.. the ex owner they did the toilet with laminate cabinet at the bottom of the sink or below the vanity top... after having a closer look the wood have rot and there is a strong smell coming out of the cabinet I think its due to the fact that long closure of the cabinet. We now totally tear down the wooden item in the bathroom. For no. 1 I would do the following: Bottom and Top laminate vanity cabinet -> not doing cause wood material as it states laminate... wood cannot live in wet area long. Come with lighting pelmet -> ok can do Wall to wall mirror -> ok can do laminate surface vanity top -> Solid surface not laminate or wood material Just to add the painting part... I think its better to get the ID to paint all bathroom ceiling with mold guard paint... cause wet area ma. For kitchen can use the oil and water resistance paint... cause cooking alot. For kids room use the wash and wear paint... cause kids dirty the room... with paint or pens... easy to wash.

If dun believe on FS than just believe on that fact that at night wake up will scared yourself lor.. I think putting the mirror in the wardrobe is a good idea.. my bro did it for my mom's room. A pity I cannot sent it to you cause I dun stay with my mom. But since you get my idea I think its not hard to explain to ID. My wardrobe is S$1620 but not laminate its veneer and the mirror the ID can give free... and I told him not small small mirror more to a full length.. like 150cm. So I guess you can stick to the same price just add a mirror in a sliding panel into the wardrobe.

I guess that your wardrobe is facing the bed.. either its in front or side of your bed... actually not alot of pple will do full mirror if it reflacts your bad cause its bad according to FS. If you dun believe in FS I dun think you want to scare youself at night when you wake up to go to the toilet or so. If you need the mirror, I suggest you do a panel of sliding mirror in the wardrobe itself. Meaning you have 2 track for the sliding wardrobe... you just need to tell your ID/contractor to add 1 more track in before the 2 track of the wardrobe door for the mirror panel. Hope you understand what I explain For us we will be doing swing door and the interner part of the swing door just make a mirror lor.. the contract give FOC

Elaborate... dun know how to elaborate Either you do fix glass panel on the left and swing door to the right side OR do fix glass panel on the left and sliding door to the left which means that the sliding glass door is semi kept to the fridge that side. I dun really understand when you say conseal sliding door But if your kitchen is small looking do glass looks better so it feels bigger clean and bright. I saw you mention the following: 2. You want to install PD door?? Maybe you can install the PD door at the MBR Bathroom as it is usually use by you and hubby and for the common bathroom just install the bi-folding one as usually is being used by guest. How does this sound??

Our unit only Robinson have it else where also cannot find one. This was mention to me by the salesman. You can call Slumberland HQ and ask which shop got your unit.

We got ours at Robinsons at Centerpoint. They can store the mattress for you till you are ready to deliver as for the price you pay the price what they have at the point of time.. if down the road they have promo for the same unit you will be rebate for the different. We got S$200+ back after we paid for our unit. If you have Robinson card even better they sometime offer additional discount for members As for bedframe we got it else where.

Charles & RoboTech> Thanks for reassuring. We went to Unikhome and buy the bedframe, TV console & magazine side coffee table. At the mean time the bedframe is avail only mid-June but we are ok cause just started reno yesterday. I will post again after I got the furniture.
