  1. fret not guys.. yeak qoute me 290 also.. so he's fair to everyone.. 250 for angel only means that he is not calculative =)
  2. ups for another potential yeaker... fully agree with angel.. my experience with him so far is very good.. totally no regrets
  3. yeah.. absolutely love the tiles man... the texture and the sparkles yes, that's my place! very soon we will be able to track his movement
  4. Ya.. getting it polished but it will be taken care of by my parents, who had 25 years of experience in the marble industry Unless the state of your marble is really bad (big cracks everywhere) or you don't like the feel of marble flooring, i suggest you keep it. They are expensive. After a real good polish, marble will give you house a posh feel and keeps you and your house cool.. these are my opinions lah.. by the way, this print of marble is pelatino. will upload the pics once the marble is polished. yeah. think the reno just started... current place is indeed very colorful. it was in a better state when we viewed the flat. would be using 30X60 for all selected tiles. the kitchen floor is from LSH. is yours too?

  10. Tiles Selection Completed Updates on tiles selection... After visiting Hafary twice and once to LSH, we have finally confirmed our tiles. Our short listed tiles from Hafary and LSH. Still got some samples that are not in the pic... Confirmed tiles that we will be using. Starting from the top left corner (black tile) and in a clockwise direction : 1. glossy black for tiles in between kitchen cabinets 2. matt white wavy tiles for rest of kitchen walls 3. matt black tiles with sparkles for kitchen floor 4. rough grey tiles with running tone and sparkles for toilet floor + feature wall 5. smooth grey tiles with running tone for rest of toilet walls 6. rusty tone tiles for dining feature wall (my fav ) The sellers have finally moved and will be meeting yeak later to pass him the keys and as well as to go through with him 1 final time the list of things to hack before the hacking starts tomorrow... so exciting to see the reno kick off... and can't wait to see our selected tiles being tiled. Will be taking some pics of the empty house later Next: Pics before renovation
  11. WIW outside the bathroom will defintely make the clothes mouldy.. first hand experience from wifey's sis. if you do not need the balcony, maybe you can try this for the WIW. =)
  12. Updated Lighting Plan Hi guys & gals, after seeking yeak's advice I have come up with this lighting plan. Is this better? Intend to reuse existing small round downlights for WIW.
  13. i am refering to rondy. bengawan i am not sure...
  14. quickly confirm yeak and start your blog so that i can grow my siggy yeah. pretty excited..
  15. yours not certified la... can try polar.. they are certified too.
  16. 25th. which is next monday! so excited..
  17. updated my siggy too heard from yeak that yours should finish pretty soon! excited to see the end product man. anyway, will be starting my reno next monday 25th may
  18. hi precious, sorry FIL say his friend is distributor so don't sell to individual... what's a plant platter light? anyway saw in magazines that some WIW have lights built into the wardrobes.. do you mean that? ya.. think will try to minimize the number of down lights...
  19. we were there from about 3 to 6... so i've guess we've somehow have already met each other.. will try to show pics. but have yet to confirm some of it.
  20. yeah FIL will help out and be supervisor while I will be the bangala that does the manual labours.. lol.. thank god BIL promised to help out too and my marble flooring will be DIY too.. my parents will do them (grind, polish and waterproof treatment) for me as they are in the industry yes, meeting yeak later at 2pm.. ok i'll try to ask for you....
  21. hey we were at hafary too.. what time were you there?
  22. my FIL will do the electric for me wifey also say that spot light not practical... so i guess will drop the idea. cause my FIL works in the electrical industry so he can get from his friends @ special price. he doesn't sell these but i can try to get his friend's contact for you but i cant guarantee a special price. downside is that there is only one design (gloss white casing) but a couple of sizes to choose. so how's your meeting? will be meeting later at 2pm. yeah! ya.. his english ya. opposite. where's yours? ok in that case maybe i will follow rondy's suggestion and use 2 downlights instead of 3 at the passage way towards the bedrooms.. agreed with saving $$ on the spotlights and spend more on other decor. didn't know he will change the number lock during the process.. which is good i feel.
  23. that's one of the main reasons why i chose him :thumbs up:
  24. ok. i guess when you say reduce to 2 meaning use 2X18 instead of 2X13 downlights? ya.. still thinking whether to do the spotlights. worried that it will be very warm when on i am going to start at end of this month.. so you are using 2X18 also? if yes then can go your place to take a look at the brightness.... keke... there is no yeak electrician... will be DIYing the electricals.... so need more opinion.. will 2X18 downlight look bulky? i am able to get downlight at contractor price so install a bit more is still ok.. intention was to install more 2X13 downlights but would not switch them all on at the same time. ya... he also told he he got a few projects... when is your 2nd appt? yeah... can start a fan club soon
  25. congrats.. do ask yeak to bring you to some of his ongoing projects to check out his workmanship.. you'll be impress.
