  1. it's not cramped at all, we tried galley kitchen with tall cabinets is a bad idea for me because it blocks the light from the kitchen windows. i intentionally made the wall cabinets higher so that i can have more light in the kitchen. i'll have top cabinets on the other side too, if required in the future it's 20ft at the moment, 12 bottom, 8 above.
  2. be careful with that sheet, i once saw a pic of it stuck to the flooring after long term use sounds like a dog is ransacking for shiny treasures
  3. get the ball type float valve like this (i can't find the exact pic but DIY shops sell it) when there's water, ball floats up and lets the water through, when water goes through, ball drops and seals the hole. this is useful to prevent odours, insects from coming through. there are other non-ball versions i saw at poh joo too
  4. galley kitchen is the most space (and cost) efficient style. distance between is 3ft. bargain more bro

  8. Yes it's not wall mounted. Good thing too! because my wall tiles are very thick! here's a close up pic product description & measurements Stainless steel ignore the prices (in USD), i got my sink at SGD$169, and the rest at SGD$100 ps. wow your first post is on my t-blog
  9. personally, i had a good experience with singtel. i guess when you do things that are different from the standard protocol, they are not as efficient.
  10. 1) water pressure is due to the piping diameter. can't really give you any suggestions on this without knowing the plumbing layout. if you don't want to redo the piping, another way would be to buy those small sized instant heaters (storage heater would not have issues with low pressure) 2) could be the plumbing or the sink. if you want to know which is at fault, try this. turn off the main water supply, drain all the water from your sink into a pail. dry up your sink, above and below. make sure it's totally dry, pour the water from the pail back into the sink (with the stopper down) till the sink is half full (or half empty if you're a pessimist ) wait an hour, observe for leaking for up to 1 hour. leaky sink is very problematic as it can destroy your base cabinets over time. better to fix it asap. 3) better call the gas heater supplier fast to see how this can be resolved. maybe the heater can't detect the water at low pressure. but look at the bright side, your house is so clean mine is in a huge mess still
  11. wah renotalker destroy your mirror console ah, how ah? can compensate?
  12. this is counter-intuitive design... shower area should have a dedicated drainage instead of relying on the WC drainage. WC drainage should be present, but should be minimally used. my opinion: if it doesn't need to be wet, it shouldn't be. If you have no use for that hole, seal it up with cement and tile it up.
  13. wah you want to DIY? you need to buy the cable, trunking, nails, wire stripper, RJ45 jacks. as for the colour code, just google it
  14. they should give you discount for not using their dampers
  15. no, it's actually blum you can see the blum brand on the hinges. it's just marketed as ikea. price-wise, it's the same. but most IDs try to make you pay more if you request for blum even though it's cheap.

  18. yes 3.80psf nett (no GST at all, at least for now) with installation and skirting standard warranty it's 15 years, but like i said before, if water penetrate within 15 years, it's not covered. and that's the main problem! power dekor and supreme are not water resistant. how much is classen? i have not seen a review on this brand yet. based on my search, i think classen's price should be similar to pergo
