  1. wow, that's very near to my JB house! think I can walk there lol! Camp Majidee.....meaning the one with Maybank at the corner that stretch, before the ExxonMobil station? or the one before the Shell station?
  2. i usually buy from ebay one. lots of resellers with cheaper price.
  3. review are only basic reference, dun believe what they said 100%, usually they are paid to write only the good things and hide the bad things, especially this particular webby go and see it yourself, experience it yourself, if there are friends who also own the same TV, ask them for feedback.
  4. I think I have a mixture of design, so I need a shop/company that can do it for me. Any recommendation? JB also can
  5. mine sharing the contact here? I dun think there is any problem lar. Do they customize TV console too? I dun think I can get what I wanted.....
  6. We have our laminate skirting done in whole house. To my surprise the color faded about 8 months time.....is it considered normal? However, for laminate flooring, it doesn't have such problem...
  7. well, LG is a NO NO for heavy user lor. I have some friends who got feedback from Changi Airport that these panels turn yellowish after 1 year 24/7 operation....d@mn scary..... keltong, you shall take a look at how "reflective" on the new Samsung P9 and the Pioneer Kuro, they are super glossy, yet not reflective maybe you need to pay Maximum Credit a visit next time you buy electronic stuff the price quoted from phone is usually higher. If shop A can sell at $X, Maximum Credit confirm can match or most of the time, outbid it @ a lower price just curious, how come you ended up buying in SITEX?
  8. then you may find it too troublesome to use iRobot. Even the highest end one, the Scooba 340 or 380, can only mop up to 850sqft per battery charge, separated by 2 refill. Scooba is noisy and moving slow compared to manual work. It's good if you leave it running around when you're not around or not doing anything within that area. Need to calculate properly where you want to mop etc, that's how the virtual walls come in handy.
  9. I will suggest getting Scooba will do. Roomba can't pick up big stuff like your vacuum cleaner. Scooba is the same, but it's able to do some vacuum, so there is no need to vacuum before you run Scooba. However, I doubt you could clean as good as Scooba, at least, it's tough....5 times average per spot kind of mopping.....that's the way I love it! Get a dyson in case you need to vacuum the spots where the robots can't reach, or bigger particles where the robot can't pick up.
  10. better than hongliang/maximum credit? keltong, may I know which Plasma your mum is using? burn mark is longer an issue for plasma but dead pixel is....same as LCD. I do not know how could the ceiling light affect your TV viewing. Unless your false ceiling is d@mn low, as low as you hitting your head when you stand up, I dun see why ambient light would affect the glossy screen. Matt screen is dull color, no 3D feel at all....but if some reflection(which could be adjusted easily) is your concern, then you can always go for matt Plasma (eg, PY series from Panasonic). My Samsung P9 glossy screen doesn't reflect as much light compared to other brands(something like multicoat in lens, but much better than that), it does absorb certain ambient light but not compromising any picture quality at all. I only get reflection when there is a direct light source shooting to it, eg, torch light....
  11. suggest you stick to japanese brands like Panasonic and Mitsubishi, or maybe Hitachi. They are much more durable...especially Panasoni (National). We can talk about 10-15 years min lifespan.....
  12. Max383, can email me the picture if you can't host it here....
  13. Max383, you can try using imageshack.net to host the picture or photobucket (need to sign up). I still got headache to find the right TV console to house my 50kg Plasma....
  14. we went b4, what I can say is, OVERPRICED OVERPRICED OVERPRICED....... Country style also got many types. French, American, English etc etc..... but a particular race would do it very their way....you can always feel it. Make sure you dun over do it and end up like that.......then the comments will be very funny one lor.... IKEA is another place suitable for such theme. They have certain series/range of furnitures that's of better quality one, more expensive but affordable.
  15. but you can't hang too high too, coz it it will become raising your head to watch the TV...... I got mine with a group of friends, we shared price findings. So bought Samsung 50" Full HD Plasma P9 for $3700. If you're looking for Full HD and 50", this is the best value model right now. limited stocks though. 50" Full HD TV shall not be more than $4K at the first place. You will know what I mean if you do a simple search from US retailers.
  16. softballer, i think there are people reported that 7th generation of Pioneer Plasma is selling at around $2K. Perhaps you may want to consider that. I supposed you're looking at 42"?
  17. never dream of full HD LCD @ such price, unless it's Palladine which has very poor processing chip. If you're on full HD source, that's good, but if you're on SD, try to get a better brand. FYI, 37" full HD LCD from Palladine is between $1K-1.3K. LCR7 is LCD. PC5R then is Plasma.
  18. never mind, wait for it to come down again maybe you never negotiate hard enough lor hehe...
  19. hi olivetree, my PM was full, so sorry about it. you can MSN me at sales@ejaya.com my experience with them is quite okay, there is no perfect contract In fact, I'm a tough customer to deal with hehe....
  20. the best is remove the VIP tables! you got so many guests around, they must help entertaining all what? Just like some of you guys mentioned, a lot of time, the VIP tables are empty, so, what's the point?
  21. hi JIN, which store did you buy it from? I must grab it real soon....
  22. i went to East Zing, they are selling it for $169, molecule is not selling this leh. I realized the back of the clock is not having same flat level. kinda funny....
  23. yes, normal RCA cable will do the job, just make sure you connect to the right color will do
