Divorce But To Buy Over The Flat
Plastic3 replied to bepgof's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
From what I know, one party can buy over the other party's share as long as both are agreeable, either by: i] paying for the other party's contribution ii] or they can also do a valuation for the property, and decide on the amount to be paid to the other party based on current market price One of my client's husband bought over her share (paid for her contribution) For more information best to check with HDB branch office. -
Proposed Statutory Board – Council For Estate Agencies (cea)
Plastic3 replied to Plastic3's topic in Rent/Sell Properties
Relationship plays a part yes, but for full-time Agents...most clients are referred strangers only a minority are friends or relatives, so there's no relationship to speak of, building relationships takes time sometimes there isn't enough time to establish a bond or rapport with strangers....so the cost factor comes into play... anyway, its part of being an Agent....there are pros & cons.... -

Its quite okay to fetch clients from where they are, especially expats...since they may not be familiar with the directions.....I feel this is part of service... -

Not wild at all, many agents are also business owners, or doing something alongside real estate..... Downside? none....apart from the fees for exam...... -

Agreed, I believe the board should improve the professionalism of the industry and hopefully have some standardization across the numerous agencies, so the general public won't have to face different practices by different agencies. -
