rework..rework..rework.. hollow tiles..chipped tiles..lady gaga (ok no link..) henry arranged tiler to replace tiles..some hollow ones just put some special detergent nia..dunno will work or not! haiz..now scare after replacing..the new tiles not level with the rest... kitchen also v messy again...hope the acid wash can create blink blink effect.. cheers n happi nesting

hmm..total bill is 288..shag...if u r not those fussy type..can tahan abit cold first..then ok lah... save monthly bill..? not v sure cos haven really use yet..but minus off those bulky storage or water heater in your bathroom..look nicer defintely... beside this heater is made in japan..rinnai..quite zai this brand..and look quite nice..hehe cheers!

hi marsbars...i had my citygas heater installed few weeks..i see no on/off switch..the installer mentioned there is no need to off the heater..it is safe.. just compare with your hob cooker fire..they work similarly..hehe also it is powered by 2 batteries instead of one.. yes there will be 3 ugly pipes running around..if you are doing kitchen cabinet..make sure they are hidden in it.. the water will only heat up about 30 secs later after tap is open..u need to fully open the tap..then the fire will be ignited... btw there is an installation charge of 60 bucks (for heater) and 100 bucks for gas pipe laying... hope the above info helps..cheers!

Platform in study area laminate done by Floorich - distributor of Pergo laminate...came back thrice to rework..haiz..workmanship not so zai..but service not bad lah..called few times for feedback..see the problems encountered... some skirting not fixed properly - shaking skirting nails not patched up nicely laminate peeled off in one pc some laminate not fixed properly too - can hear "clatch" sound when stepped yesterday just done final rework...hopefully no more problems lah.. Master br toilet vanity also done by carpenter uncle..basin from Poh Joo..round n cute overall view of the toilet..wc foc by henry..otto brand (at 1st thought toto )..i guessed all henry's customer have same toilet bowl..hehe To be updated....cheers n happy nesting!

bro..can opt for white on top and black below..should be nice cos i am doing mine like that at the moment...finish the top part with black frame.. one point to take note...the dish rack might be too low..so might hit the head at the sink area...ours is like this..so we asked the carpenter to change..and he do it nicely for us... cheers!

Gas heater installed by citygas..quite chio..by Rinnai 188bucks + installation Platform done by carpentry pple...haven test whether zhai or not... Henry initially offered us kronofix laminate..simi brand..never heard before...decided to ownself source...finally go for pergo family series + silencer...only few hundred bucks difference...Henry then called and said can offer us supreme hardwood...aiyo already ordered pergo leh...he said nvm lor This week will process acid wash after painting and then up the laminate and carpentry...hope everything goes well... will post more pics soon...cheers!

sorry guys..not been updating this thread as super busy and maybe lazy..hehe added some reno pics... round edge - nice! ugly piping I - no choice, aircon man said pipe must come out from balcony drainage...paid 40bucks to install this water pipe for washing machine... ugly piping II - plumber lay too much pipe in common br...omg! Henry said if change, will have many holes in the tiles..no choice demanded to paint the pipe to suit the wall colors.. ugly piping III - master br..exposed pipes consequences

Hi, We had chosen the same set of mbr toilet wall tiles but tiled differently and i love your common toilet (white + green combi). Didn't managed to get any suitable green from hafary therefore changed to black tiles instead. Waiting to see the actual picture for both ur toilets.

Today went to check on the tiles..almost finished but hor...some areas need rectification..not up to standard leh..then again cannot be perfect lah.. (i) common br step over tiles not straight...quite eyes sore...maybe the sliding door can cover..maybe not..why like that..? ok np..henry explained due to hdb original wall not done properly..that's y..many owners have this issue too..blah..blah..but the sliding door can cover it..will not be so obvious..hopefully...like that must ask for nicer door liao..hehe (ii) master br mosaic cracked!!! ridiculously the tiler still continued sticking them...why like that..? this one not ok..henry explained tiler never see properly after wiping the mosaic..maybe eyes kanna cement?...agreed to replace all problem mosaic for us.. (iii) requested to change fridge and w.machine base to curved edge...henry said very old fasioned...now everyone doing 45 degree one...but we insisted on round edge...don like many sharp edges ard...in the end he agreed to change for us.. ok..so far...henry can accede to our request...hopefully the rectification is up to standard...without delaying the reno process in the meantime..happy nesting! cheers!

hi bro..so far ok lah...some plus minus here n there lor.. any tips to check on the tiles after laying? want to check with you whether the stainless steel drainage cover like the one shown is approved by hdb...? cos henry mentioned not approved by hdb...so cannot do... Cheers!
