yup yup it's a matter of personal preference but if your preference is cooler water then it's good cos can save some $$$ hahaha for some HDBs (esp the newer ones?), the 2 toilets are side-by-side so they can share the same storage heater. But for mine the toilets are at 2 different ends of the flat so a bit hard to share.... i may just go for instant heater @ common toilet to save some cost... you mentioned multi-point instant heater... so can just run a hot water pipe from instant heater to kitchen, is it?

Hi~ haha when i called Mr. Yeak, he said he's doing another reno in June so can't do mine. So it could be your house that he's referring to? hee hee

erm actually hor.... i really use v hot water to bathe... sometimes i even find my storage heater water not hot enough... #'_'# esp towards the end of my shower or during cooler days~ after years of instant heater during school hostel days, now i make sure i have storage heater and get to enjoy my hot hot bath hahahaha Question: i remember hearing about a rule that HDB cannot have 2 storage heaters in the same flat or something like that... anyone heard about this?

wah so you must know heaters very well hee may i ask you... i saw in one of my quotations that for storage heater, they quoted for both hot and cold water piping, while for instant heater they only quoted for cold water piping. Is this correct? i'll go for storage heater @ MBR toilet cos instant heater water is not hot enough for me....

fencer, can tell that you're very upset... *cool down* hope you can settle the outstanding items with Henry soon. to be frank, i think after many good feedback on renotalk, the expectation on Henry is very inflated, until sometimes we forgot that he is also just another contractor. anyway, thanks for all the honest sharing by the Henner Club members here it sure gives us a lot of tips on contractor management and how to communicate with him...

For point 6, you can see fencer's posts on top of the page... The walls without plastering are not smooth, and the roughness became obvious especially under the downlights

I went on biz trip to Japan with an Indian vegetarian colleague b4. We just requested the restaurants to change all the meat/seafood to veggie, eggs or tofu. They can do for you easily but it's quite bland to eat this kind of food for many days...

Another way is to apply for the OCBC Ikea card...?

Life Is All About Pending! My House At Pending Road
marshmallow replied to pendingkia's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat
Welcome... Pending is one of my most-visited LRT stations... hahaha btw, there's a thread on Defong here, not sure if it's the same one you're refering to http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=19729 -
Actually it's good to get your HLE before viewing any flat, so you know how much loan you can get and hence if there is any budget constraint. You must have a valid HLE while exercising OTP, but you can get it in advance, not "only after paying the option fee".
