  1. nice pictures My reno started this week. So far only saw that hacking is done no time go and check it out.. haha..
  2. what caused such long delay? rectification works? or issit slow work?
  3. any feedback on the Fujioh FG20SV Hob? Not too sure whether Fujioh is a good and reliable brand. Any comments?
  4. oh u bought the pump one. the salesman told me that singaporeans don't need pump as our hdb water comes from above, already has pressure. Love you kitchen man.. very nice design and choice of colours
  5. sianz.. i headed down to YES electrical today, for the same instant shower that you have bought, he quoted me RM$450. Even after I told him its not that much, he only reduced the price a little. Not a very honest place to be buying stuff from.. Rather get from Kong Tai even if it means paying a little more.
  6. wah such a bad experience. Lucky you took your business elsewhere. I've never been to the branch at Jalan Besar, but at the branch at IMM, all their items are labelled with pricing so don't have to ask for quote. But service wasn't as good as expected and they refused to offer me a discount. So I end up taking my business elsewhere also. Found this place at Tradehub21, shop name Adamas. Although individual items were sometimes a few dollar more expensive than Hoe Kee, the boss gave me a discount on every individual items and a further discount on the total price. Service definitely is better than Hoe Kee. However, I have only just bought the items and have not gone thru the process of delivery and inspection on products, so please take this with a pinch of salt. Items i bought include Granite Kitchen sink Kitchen sink tap bathroom glass rack x2 corner rack 2-tier x2 toilet roll holder x2 towel rack x2 Clothes hook x2 Total paid around $750
  7. thanks for the kind advice canopy. perhaps you can post some pictures so we can know in more detail what areas to look out for. but i do appreciate you sharing info with us hope it turns out well for you bro.
  8. I have 2 bedrooms and a living room along the corridor. That equates to about 14 panes i think Any estimate on how much it would cost to apply Huper Optik to a 4 pane window for the frosted design? Cos singaporeans change car 5-10 years.. houses change less often ^_^
  9. i think leather and fabric both has its pros and cons. decided to get leather as I prefer its feel. to put it crudely, skin to skin is better than skin to cloth
  10. hmm? not too sure i got what you mean? I have tons of corridor windows..
  11. its stated real cow hide leather. honestly the package seems to be a really good deal sofa by itself is $2800. I only top up $300 to add a king size bedframe, tv console, and coffee table. Well at least thats how Cellini do their marketing but I'm happy to be hook at that price Just hope no bugs of any kind on delivery and thereafter.
  12. rofl interesting nick bro. maybe i should rename to fajar-kia.. lol
  13. canopy, maybe let them know of your preference. i'm sure they will do their best to cater to you. quoting my experience with them, I was suppose to meet William to pick out tiles for my entire place. But William was caught up with a prior client which he had informed me. Somemore raining that day. To my surprise, he had asked Jeremy and another ID to come down and go through the process with me, and recommended options when my wife and I were having trouble deciding. William turned up after the tile picking was completed. It wasn't an unhappy experience at all as he had sent someone in his stead to guide me through an otherwise daunting process. Thereafter, they even offered to bring me in their car to another place to scout for toilet accessories as it was raining and I ride a motorbike and send me back to my bike afterward. Thumbs up for Defong so far
  14. actually bed bugs not that hard to get rid of. just get a steamer and go through everything. then vacuum to clean up the dead bugs and eggs to minimise hatching. if bedframe is wood.. more troublesome.. dismantle and clean thoroughly.. i suspect im off topic here Actually i didn't really like the feel of Cellini Calypso (apologies to the calypso fan club).. found it kinda tough on my butt.. maybe i got delicate butt.. lol.. Anyway, i bought the $2999 package, added another $200 to upsize my bedframe to king-size. I took the Cellini Glide (2 seats able to recline and the feel is really sofa and comfy), bedframe, coffee table and tv console. Bought at the Sungei Kadut outlet at IFC. Pretty good sales service. Wanted to get bedside tables there too but the design there i find too futuristic.. lol..
