thanks adidaem for sharing mummymantra's blog! i was greatly inspired by her ideas but was wondering about her progress coz she stopped sharing it here.

the progress is looking really good! after you posted pics of egg3, my hubs and i went to take a look see too! loved the stuff there.. but many pieces seem to be per piece basis? once sold = gone??

i only using the wooden tiles in the kitchen and the rest of 1st floor is homo. while upper floor will retain existing parquet. i was tempted to use wood for the entire house but felt it would be too much "wood" as we will be using alot of wooden furniture.. ONE big sink is really useful! alternatively, you can try two medium sinks combo? i've always preferred a single bowl.. so i can't comment on the usefulness of two sink bowls. gd luck with ur reno! p.s. i also find the staircase quite ugly.. n i don't have much ideas on it.. so might just keep it simple and change the railings.. glass is out coz my hubs think its not child safe.

hahahahaha! how heavy is ur hubby? mine is quite heavy too! but this chair can tahan his weight it seems quite sturdy compared to alot of other chairs we sat on.. some of them, my hubs could stress it until it went /-/

we gotten the Kartell masters chair in burnt orange and sage green. i was pretty torn with the colour choices..

we managed to catch Lifestorey's kartell sale.. and ordered our dining chairs! we r "only" (or trying to) splurge only on the kitchen and dining where its the heart and soul of our family..

erm... what we did for our prev. place was to put the fan in the center.. and installed two lights beside.

for really powerful jet.. really don't use instant. i won't really reco u go for the 707 princeton coz you are already planning to reno ur house.. running hot water pipes to shower area shld be okay.. for the price we paid for the princeton, can really get one small storage tank le..
