depends how heavy is the right foot lor.... never did the maths, and never pump full tank also cos dun like the idea of carrying dead weight around..normally pump to half or at most 3/4 tank nia... but think forums say about 8-9km/litre nia ba average...or can be as low as 6-7 if really heavy right foot.. but no point lah.....stomp how heavy also not fast enough one lor, also not loud enough to scare motorists one lor.... but must get used to the fuel consumption lah....the 3.8litre GTR not going to give 12-15km/litre also, neither will the 6coupe if particular about fuel consumption, nothing can beat the hybrids liao...Civic Hybrid and Prius! Phantom, your one leh? if only can win 4D or TOTO, can buy this for mrs compassvale to zip around town... friend just got his. quite impressed with the boot space and the interior space.. FC also not bad wor...around 13-15

Welcome to compassvale green. If you do not want tiles provided by HDB, you can choose your own tiles and top up the difference in tile price. Talk to the HDB contractor in charge of replacing your tiles, he will advise u where to get tiles and how to do it. No, you cannot trust HDB contractors to do good job and you cant do much, unless you want to engage your own contractors to tile for you. Best you can do is to check and check, and complain to towncouncil to get them to rectify. We had 1-2 hollow tiles that shakes when we step on it. We just kept calling the HDB contractor to come back to rectify. hey! nice meeting you and hubby! yeap, do join us longer next time... We'ld love you to drop by on 15th if you have a change of plans then. but meanwhile, get more rest and sleep during the run up to your AD!

yeah...the rotary is a gem....if really got $$$..buy the rx7 keep as vintage car also shiok... a normal 4 stroke engine works like this... the rotary goes like this....the inventor Mr Wankel really had his own ideas on things..hehe while normal piston engines tends to stress their mechanical parts at high rpms...the rotary just keeps spinning and spinning with much less stress as there isn't any drastic change in piston stroke motion. for a 1.3litre engine to produce over 200hp without turbos/supercharger is an engineering feat and ingenuity....although it is notorious for being atrocious in fuel and engine oil consumption..... but you get the exclusivity of have a ride that has no pistons in it....and very smooth and relatively silent operation... you definitely will not wake up your neighbours, nor announce to other road users that you are around them..hehe when we came home after Mace's gathering today, saw an evo9 starting up his ride in our carpark. It was only idling, but it sounded quite high on the decibel level....hehe...seriously, last time when i was much younger....i felt it's so cool! the BOP BOP BOP sound, even when idling...but nowadays...if you ask me to drive it, i think i will feel very self conscious... like a bit paiseh like dat....too much attention grabbing liao....think it's a sign that mellowed down liao ba...or grown out of the phase liao..hehe if we have gotten the evoX, we would probably try to find every way to reduce the decibel levels....slower never mind....just dun make people's eyes turn to us for the wrong reasons when we turn the ignition key..hehe the rx7 is a legend because it has a rotary engine in it and also turbos but the engine is not the only plus point, the handling has always been a big plus also. the rx8 is also a 1.3 litre engine but produces near 250hp, without turbos...another engineering feat. but without the rx7 turbos, the low end torque is lacking. But what you lack in straight line speed, you can make up for it in the corners/bends... another gem naturally-aspirated engine is the one in S2000. very high-revving..... a classic of HONDA engineering superiority also...

hmmm...managerial level must change to 3 or 5 series liao ah..hehe ok lah....mrs compassvale's colleague who is an AM currently in the same firm, drives a white WRX. think he still gets a bit peeved when ladies still refer to his ride as....*wa....family car ah* i think he was hoping that they would go....*wa....sports car ah...* hehe think so, that time still studying also...so slowly buy lor....hehe and not including my R/C collection last time....sold most of it le....gas and battery but i had a Trueno AE86 polycarbonate RC body cover last time....lol still at my old place...got chance will bring over and keep nicely..hehe

he abit contradicting leh...one hand say no need spend money to boost his esteem..on the other hand...got exotic cars leh...lol just like a lady say...she dun need to buy Hermes , balenciaga bags to boost her self esteem..but yet got a collection of gemstones and diamonds.... actually hor...if I can ever have the chance to own a Ferrari and a Bentley.... i will also cut my own hair....i will even drink vinegar thinking it's just expired wine..... still can go Marks and Spencer leh...buay pai liao u know.. i still would go NTUC...or even the old uncle selling the groceries in his *zap huay diam*....as long as i can have a ferrari and a bentley parked in my HDB multi storey carpark..hehe think at the end of the day, if the money can really bring a big smile to the faces, then it's worth it.... then all the crap one face at work....will just disappear.....till the next day at least..hehe cos also no point keeping everything in the bank book also....end up only benefitting the banks who only offer you miserable rates and yet they loan out your deposits to make themselves richer.... why deprive yourselves of some little pleasures in life...just to make the financial institutions happier? hehe but then again spend how much is subjective....some spend 50k still not happy...some spend 20k already very happy.... happiness is hard to quantify by $ though..hehe

actually hor.. she made the baby blue S2000 more than 6-7 years back...u see the tyres...old until got slight mould growing on them liao..not black black like new tyres and i was still suaning her just now over dinner that you actually noticed the baby blue s2000. must have stuck out like a SORE THUMB that's why..haha but hor...after dinner, went surfing about S2000 just for fun...and realised got a near baby blue special S2000 edition for 2008! S2000 CR Race Track Ready Introducing the next roadster to epitomize the pure thoroughbred racer lineage of Honda motorsports: The 2008 S2000 CR “Club Racer”. Intention The S2000 CR was designed to drive to the track, and around it. The CR is a competitor, and its driver should possess the desire to maximize its potential for improved track times at club racing events. Quicker The factory-tuned CR is an extreme performer. Its aerodynamic design and stiffer suspension settings provide increased rigidity and increased downforce. It’s a purist’s sports machine that builds on the race-inspired attributes of the original S2000—then cranks out even more of everything sports car drivers crave. Lighter The CR takes “track-inspired” to an entirely new level. With racecar-like suspension and lower weight, its cornering, braking and acceleration make it one of the best rides around. To accomplish this, the audio system and air conditioning are now offered as options and the spare tire has been replaced with a tire repair kit. This, along with other modifications, lightens the racy roadster by nearly 100 pounds from the original S2000. Add in a taut new chassis, quicker steering ratio, “stickier” tires, and track-inspired has never felt so meaningful. EXCLUSIVE STANDARD FEATURES: Firmer springs, dampers and suspension bushings Stiffer front and rear stabilization bars Quicker steering ratio Larger rear P255/40 R17 tires Bridgestone® Potenza RE070 tires All-new 17" dark gray 5-spoke alloy wheels Fully functional aerodynamic front and rear spoilers Yellow and black fabric Yellow-stitched seats, shift boot and steering wheel Spherical aluminum shift knob Removable aluminum hardtop Body-colored roll bar cowlings Sport-tuned exhaust silencer wah...is this good prediction from her or wat not exact hue though...but close enough ba...i would never guessed they would use this kinda blue on S2000...lol actually hope next time can own a sporty car and a big SUV/MPV.... a good combination will be something like Honda S2000 & CRV/Odyssey Nissan GTR & Murano Mazda RX & CX7 BMW Z4 & X5/7series Toyota (celica/trueno/supra replacement) & Picnic Subaru (hmm...they dun make sports coupes leh...no choice but wrx) & Tribeca Mitsubishi (also no sports coupes like last time FTOs/GTOs...no choice but evos) & Outlander? hehe best of both worlds...one ride to enjoy driving....the other for utilian usage....hehe

actually the gold rx7 was done by mrs compassvale's ex for her..hehehe think he wanted the champagne gold effect..but think either can't find that colour or wat...end up very obit looking gold car..hehe..never mind lah..take it as limited edition 24K gold plated rx8 lor..hehe then i went to do a black gim gim same version also !! see them side by side..hehe true lor..it's unfair but it's true....people do judge you on the kind of rides.... u see people come out of wrxs/evos...first thought...wah liew chao ah beng..chao ah lian.. but u dunno they are actually university graduates/masters or PhD holders and very nice people....it's true. and u see people come out of bmws/lexus....wah....class....actually they may be AH LONGS...or wat... there is more to a driver than his/her car....but then....first impressions often lasts...and stays/branded with the driver... the kits last time got from a hobby shop in tampines 201 area...but no more liao.....that time stocked up alot..in fact for the last few years never buy any kits, still got more than 10 kits not done up.....now must slowly find time to finish them up yes...can u imagine a BABY BLUE S2000? yesh...mrs compassvale's *weird* colour choice..haha

i think i better buy the GTR R/C body when it's out and then lend u the remote control lah.. that one crash never mind....hehe oh..about taking sharp corners.... there's a saying, the sharp corner ahead is what separates the boys and the men. but scared lah....i rather not grow up that reminds me of a tale from a friend, driving a grey silver van. He was travelling one rainy day from PIE>BKE bend....not speeding or wat....only 50-60kmph... then his van spin almost 360deg around on the 2lane bend...scare the **** out of him...luckily no vehicles beside and the vehicles coming from the back all brake... his van quite big (forgot the make/model) but the tyres only 155/R13 nia ....so he scared..went to change to 185/R14 now... in the end..whether u ride motorcycle, drive swift, BMW or ferrari...what matters in the end are only the rubber patches on the road...dun play play....马路如虎口..hehe
