  6. erh, maybe the way I asked question a bit confusing.. Let me rephrase. What I meant is if I want to do whole unit re-wiring, should I do it together with PUB testing? Or just whole unit re-wiring without PUB Testing? Will it cause any problem when I want to sell my flat in later part? Cheers:) Emobebe
  7. Ic, no lar. I heard from my friends so I not sure. First time do renovation..so a lot of things still blur blur. Btw, I PM you my personal email address. Did you get it? I need the electrician contact number. Thanks! You can also message me as I clear my mailbox liao...Thank you!! :0 Emobebe
  8. The reason why am I asking because I am a bit confused. I was quoted by a contractor without PUB testing but I know this contractor has been quoted other people with PUB testing. Then I asked him why not PUB testing. At first he said will be very expensive and jack up the reno total cost. But my point is if i do whole unit rewiring without PUB testing, it seems a bit redundant too. You got my meaning? Might as well don't do whole unit rewiring....LOL... Any expert here can give some advise? Sorrie ya bro kobelala, i hijack your reno blog again! Will you kill me someday??? LOL, just kidding! P.S please update me after consulting your contractor..thanks!!!
  9. Hi jaskel, Paiseh, wanna ask you question again about whole unit electrical rewiring > Should it go with PUB testing? regards, emobebe
  10. hi sng28, it is a very tough decision but i love your parquet. Very nice colour. For the matching tones, I think you can ask Jaskel for his opinion..this is indeed very tough decision. if match wrongly, will look very weird.... emobebe
  11. Thanks for the advise. Will take note of it. I haven't buy anything yet. I will only start shopping after confirm the final quotes. Right now, still altering existing quotes and bargaining for the final price. We just want to spend within our budgeted fund. emobebe
  12. Bro Kobelala, I agreed with May. Although mentioned as budgeted reno but all your furnishing and accessories are expensive...LOL Btw, do you do whole unit rewiring? If yes, is it including PUB testing? Just curious... cheers:) emobebe
  13. Hi May, Ask you something har, your electrical wiring is whole unit rewiring? If yes, did you do the PUB testing? Just curious.... Emobebe

  15. I' m looking for kitchen sink too. Don't really like blanco - shallow > water will spill out. Love stainless steel sink but notice some are a bit yellowish like Roz brand. Noted that a lot of kitchen sink are manufactured in China now but it is ok as long as it is good as others. Anyone here who are pro on kitchen sink and tap? Can give some advise and guideline? TIA
  16. Is there anything to consider for buying hood and hob? I am a bit indecisive. Went to Hoe Kee today, the salesman said Fujihoh is better than Techno, Turbo and Rinnai. I was actually considering Fujihoh Hood and Rinnai hob but the salesman kept saying no good for the hob. His reasons are that Rinnai hob not toughened glass which can handle high temperature > 300 degree Celcius and the warranty is lifetime. If crack, can replace once but not the second crack. Hmmm, there are other some reasons but I can't remember. Not well today shouldn't go out..
  17. Hi blogNS, how much your kitchen sink cost? Btw, the kitchen sink look a bit yellowish?? Not sure whether photo not clear or my eyes got problem? Made from stainless steel? Cheers:) Emobebe
  18. Congrats that you have moved in finally and settle down at your new place!!! Time flies very fast!!!! Cheers:) Emobebe
  19. Hi Bro Kobelala, I went to Grohe Showroom yesterday. I was attended by an ang moh salesman and managed to find out the different between the round shape head and square head...the reason why they designed round shape is to maintain the same water pressure inside it so that when the flow come out, you will see equal flow of raindrop and they have another model in square shape but inside is also round for the same reason. The warranty is five years. Why they are different from other rainshower (means cheaper type) cos 1) safety valve - when the temperature too high, it will adjust the temperature. 2) lubricant - to prevent leakage on the mixer. 3) the mixer part - I can't remember he mentioned made from ??? that prevent heat especially when you touch at the mixer you won't feel hot... The rain shower should be installed by professional plumber because the grohe item itself have a few accessories which are very different from normal rain shower. They can recommend the plumber if u need it but if your contractor know how to do it, it is also ok. Just that don't anyhow install it else it will affect the way it should work. Cheers:) Emobebe
  20. Hi sng28, the first picture texture i think i have seen it at Hafary Defu Lane showroom near the counter. It is not the exact texture but quite close to it and also on dark grayish colour. I like the second picture texture if you put on the toilet. It seems like Egyptian coding on the wall..hahaha..
  21. I haven't get my key yet so no pic to upload..LOL..the seller still staying inside the house but I can illustrate a bit a long shape kitchen cabinet and with a dining table put near to wall and then next to it are two washing machines...haha..that is the current situation but I will revamp once I get my key.. Eager to see your laminates photos, tiles colour, etc...wish you a smooth reno journey!
