Money can always earn back..... reno only once in a long long time..... it always make me happy when things are done in the way I want. I moved in with all my existing furniture..... only did I change or add on new things at a later stage. Do u have a lot of storage space?

Wow ... 93k on cov? One still need to factor in reno cost and furnishing. I would need a lot of cash to do this..... the highest bid will secure the deal. I never bother to view unit when cov exceeds 50k lor.

structures that are fixed are unsightly, unless these are placed in my yard. Also, I cannot keep them when visitors/guests come to my place. I go for portable/movable clothes hangers where I can move in and out of my balcony, keep them when I dont need them.

Hi Ken Lui, Just to share my clothes drying experience. I don't use a dryer. I am one of those who still rely on the traditional way of hanging clothes. I used metal holders mounted to the ceiling for holding bamboo poles in my yard ( I just can't do without a yard). The metal holder was customed-made by my ID and it can hang a max of 3 poles. The method of drying is to put the alundry pieces on the clothes hangers and then hang them on these overhead poles.....just enough to cater for 1 wash. Another place I used to hang the clothes is my long balcony where I used a clothes stand, where I can hang a good 15-20 pieces of clothes. Though it is kind of unsightly, the balcony is a great place for drying because I get plenty of warm and wind there. How do u do your laundry in your EM?

Unbelievable! Certainly a major overhaul ..... and only 40k? I guess u must be a contractor.

My rainshower is instant heater ..... i don't like the bulky look of a storage heater.

I also share the same view as u.... still kept the 1st level room. If ever grow old and cannot climb, I think hard to stay in an EM unless install a lift..... so far I read sonewhere one EM has done so with hdb approval.

I like to ask if the midddle bar is a structural thing, why some EMs dont have. For me, I only had the lower bar removed.
