ceramic is hotter induction not so. heat doesn't really transfer to the utensils so you can touch the utensil without being burnt. safer for kids.. problem is need special induction ready utensils. using all these types of hobs don't really allow cooking with wok.

I think donating 10mins of my time is something i would do. We all are on the internet at least 2-4 hours a day. 10mins doesn't hurt in my opinion and we could be helping someone out there. not directly. but maybe indirectly. I beg to differ. alot of the smaller charities lack funds AND workers. the big ones don't really lack funds but they have overpaid workers.. ha ha ha.

Question my friend ask me. 1) Would you donate money to charity? 2) Would you donate time for volunteer work at a charity? If I tell you that you only need to donate 10mins of your time everyday and 1 charity might be receiving some aid, would you do it?

since we are on this topic. a friend told me last night to visit one blog. just started. she said that its going to be quite a big thing. offhand not much info yet. but the thing she said is if you want to help singapore's society, then should spend some time to visit the blog.

lol.. i think you should just speak to roy about your expectations and cost etc. Last time we spoke to him we highlighted our concerns. Let's put it this way, after spending quite a bit of time, we told him we really wanted him to do for us but the cost was a bit prohibitive.. in the end we managed to come to a compromise. What other Inzen clients will attest is that Roy is dedicated to his job and quite frankly you[ll see him more of a friend than an ID as your renovation go by.

Bloggers make quite a bit of money via advertising. e.g. google adsense etc.. for example. if 1 click = USD$0.10 cents and average xx blog is 50,000 hits a day. if 5% click on ads = 2500 clicks. = USD250 per day x 30 days = USD7500 USD. = >SGD$100k per year. thats just on the PTC (Pay to click) advertising.
