haha, I always show my bf ur hse pic every now and then.. Ur hse is really an inspiration to me. I am trying to keep my place white and woody things plus bit of blue and green color. I am planning to get a Toshiba System 4.. Asked for a quote and was given class "1" armaflex insulation F-3/8 inch thick and copper pipes G23 - 0.61mm. Is that gd enough? Should I upgrade any or both? Pls advise...

Can I check with you if the lighting at your place is sufficent at night or evening? If you dont turn on Cove Light but only dwn light at ur place.. We are planning to just do just L-Box with dwn light at my living and Dining area (Similar layout as your). But was advises that dwn light might not be bright enought and not as energy saving as compare to Cove lighting.. Hence he advised us to do L Box with Cove Lighting at the living room area + False ceiling at Dining area..

I've similar layout as you, once main door opens it faces kitchen and service yard... To avoid hacking, we just planning to build wooden frame door with frosted glass panel and keep kitchen door closes most of the time. But I read that in term of feng shui, best it to use your method -> change the opening.. Looking at your plan, y dont you just take layout A, and build one tall cabinet on the left of kitchen (ops your sink). It can use to store your microwave and oven toaster. A tall cabinet can have more storage space..
