i have come across English books written by malaysians and some by angmohs. i suggest you spend your money on COMICs than to buy those English FS books. chinese website a lot - but it's too complex to be translated into English - you gonna end up with northsoutheastwest all mixed into a blender. Go hawker centre, rojak only $2 cheap cheap.

hmm, you arose my interest in the sutras hehe no more quarelling, plain debate. what you mentioned is the 十重四十八戒(10 major,48 minor) , which is totally different from 在家菩萨戒(max only 28). only those who have become monks/nuns are qualified to go for the 十重四十八戒. not the laymen. 在家菩萨戒 = is the one for laymen. even then, 不得卜筮為利 does not apply to; 1) a FSM is not a bodhisvatta, he is just a scholar 2) a FSM who make just enough money for a decent living by helping others. a pity there arent many out there now. This does not apply to those PTE LTD fengshui companies which me and ahnah as well as a few others discriminates and even advises newcomers not to use their services. 3) monks who sees fengshui, for the sake of helping and for the sake of funds to be used to maintain a temple. because the money(angbao) collected goes to the temple, not to himself!

wahahhaa.....there are rules for laymen, monk/nuns, bodhis..etc not bad wor, he thinks you are a Bodhisattva therefore must abide by the rules for Bodhisattvas. even then; 不得卜筮為利 = cannot perform fortunetelling for the sake of greed/money/charges/fees/own's gain. mis-interpreted into cannot do fortune-telling. wah say! tok kong sia! cleric leh! WOW!

your contractor can help you plan(provided he is honest) or else you gonna have a lot of powerpoints all over your house. You need to plan where your TV is, where you want to put your washingmachine, fridge, microwave oven...etc for tv side, we put 2x double sockets. the rest 1x doublesocket. For corners, if you planned carefully you will save some money cos not all the corners in house will be used. some corners you might want to put cabinets/tables/etc then, for lights, depending on how big your place is - is 1 ceiling light enough to bright up the whole room? or how many lights in the Lbox? or if you have false ceiling - a lot of down lights is needed.

most members of this forum may not know much about reno, some knew a lot, but they arent blind and brainless. they can tell who is the crackednut here and who is the one sprouting nonsense here. since when i quoted I am very close to thekchencholing? when all one needs to gather infos is to dial their phone number. Just so simple! is this not a personal attack? You are just slapping yourself with each and every nonsense post. Since I am in a good mood today, moreover it's a sin to argue with the mentally disabled. This shall my last post to refute your nonsense.
-
just joking nia lah...aiya don take it so serious...
-
To all forum members, before you take the words from this nutshell enci seriously. Do read other threads about this crackednut. Do take note that this shortcircuited so-called cleric places his buddha statue in his bedroom. Performing not only naked dances but also bedtime stunts in front of the statue. Worst, he even openly declare that placing the statue in the toilet is PERFECTLY ok. WOW what a "buddhist cleric" ! And also his criticism of other buddhism school is rather appalling, no buddhist let alone a cleric would criticise other buddhism practices. As for enci, if you do not have first hand news about temples, just stop spouting nonsense here. And stop coming up with nonsense arguement for the sake of arguement. Insisting the word dedication instead of kai guang, this is NOT a court of justice, words doesnt have to be politically correct. Thekchencholing has visiting tibetan monks every now and then. And they offer this service when they are here. Give them a call and find out. So-called lay rinponche or not as you mentioned, at least they are real buddhists not some crackednut like you who perform bedtime stunts for the buddha. I didnt know you so pissed with me for ruining your MONEY MAKING opportunities here in this forum. And pls stop explaining the so-called "free" service that you are providing, all you want is the angbao in which you called it not a angbao but a form of "appreciation" for your service. It's still a ANGBAO!

dun wan HUG ... gimme your LCD TV!!

most contractor will give you a pricelist like the one from ERIC. all you need to do is to calculate HOW many sockets/lights you need while planning where to put your sockets/lights. then just add up all the figures and voila thats your rewiring $$$. Changing a new DB box is not a must, can reuse! it's not - what is included in the package, it's what you WANT in the "package". how long the $20 fan lasts? I want to retire them immediately hahaha! my akira n powerpac still new but already noisy, go for powerpac, akira vomit blood very cheapo material used! I still have a $25 sona fan in old house (4 yrs liao), I find them to be noisy thats all.

Ventilation Exhaust Fan Installation For Toilet ?
MaCe replied to tientien's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
charcoal good for absorbing moisture and pungent/smells inside cabinets/wardrobe, cars. but not good enough for big open areas. especially after someone has baked cakes in toilet, no way can the smell goes away immediately. Neither can it dry a wet toilet unless you MOP/wipe the toilet+bathroom DRY each time after use. -

dont play play with sinus hor - must go for yearly checkup. you will never know. my wife grandma just kena diagnose with cancer cos no yearly checkup...
-
karen, pls recall carefully - who is the one who triggers/start the quarrel? if it's hubby, put/hang a photo of both of you(hugging not separate pics) at the NW of the house. if it's you, put/hang the photo at SW. those mandarin ducks wont work HIDING within a wardrobe. it wont work unless your wardrobe is at the direction/position stated above.
-
then trust your fsm, cos he should have calculated your bazi.
-
if sliding window DOES not open and close often. then go buy a chinese painting(around $60) hang over the window (covering the windows) use compass to check his sitting position and place the proper animal(must also enhance the power) to counter the direction of the toilet. *provided his bazi is suitable.
-
some despicable fsm do give a "full package". glad you didnt meet one. 1) xietu is about the same as dongtu, when buying stuffs from the incense shop, ask them for the detail procedures. 2) house moving = pick auspicious date, auspicious time, start a stove on the entrance to main door, move in your most valuable stuffs first, things like knives or rubbish bins move last. many types of procedure out there but most are more or less similiar. AN sheng - FSM are scholars of the art of fengshui, not bomohs. pick a auspicious date either on the same of house moving or 1-2 days before. get a real monk or a real taoist priest NEVER go for those self proclaimed CLERICs. Kong ming sua at sin ming, Ku su lim at river valley or Xuang lin shi http://www.thekchencholing.org for tibetan monks http://www.shtemple.org.sg for real taoist priests

Ventilation Exhaust Fan Installation For Toilet ?

get a windows contractor + electrical contractor or just a main con that does everything. or 1) you can remove the glass from the window and bring it to sungei road or any glass shop to cut the hole. around $8-$15 only 2) my KDK 8" ventilator costs around $50 nia at sungei road....dont know why yours costs $120....super big size??? 3) run a wire to the bathroom ( done by electrician ) - price varies on how you want it, a on/off switch or a plug into your existing socket outside the bathroom. will post my pics tonight
